The description of the gray is so apt. I like how you use the color to dispel the gray, but as Parker said, the gray is still there. The last line is a beacon of hope. A mantra to follow when the gray advances. The colors are still there. Great job.

I've taken the train from Buffalo to Albany a few times and I also took the train from Buffalo to Chicago once. I like train travel.

I can't think of a more perfect collaboration. I tried reading A-Z and Twoey simultaneously as they were posting, and had to stop because I kept mixing the characters up. That the backdrop of this collaboration is Letchworth State Park makes the story even more special. The descriptions of the park are spot on and I can clearly imagine the spot they picked to watch the race. I'm really looking forward to reading more.
