[Sasha Distan] What's Up in Sasha's World
Puppilull replied to Kitt's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I heard this song and somehow thought of you or rather some of your characters. Not just for the obvious reason (the song title) but more because I think the song captures that despondent feeling some of your protagonists have had, when they realize they have done really awful things and kind of hate themselves. This song to me shows a man on the edge of letting go, in that moment just before the sunrise (literally or figuratively). XOV - Lucifer: -
For two people with troubled (?) pasts, they sure move fast. Or maybe it's because of that. So many secrets, so much hidden pain. I'm really intrigued by what has happened to them.

[Sasha Distan] Sanctuary
Puppilull replied to Sasha Distan's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Comfort? That might be a good idea if we were talking about two well balanced people. Now, this quick fix sex seems like a prelude to a lot of heart ache or at least angst. Casual sex is more often than not anything but casual... -
Finally together again and of course CorpSec has to show up! Not a moments peace! It's Christmas for heaven's sake! Hopefully the doc will have a few tricks up her sleeve!
-
Hmm... Casey extends an olive branch in the form of a bed? Jackson must tread carefully and maybe they can get on speaking terms. After that, the mating pull will do the rest. And I'm with the others. Revenge on the alpha and his pack will be sweet and violent. Hopefully mostly violent...

Wow! These guys don't beat around the bush, do they? (Pun may or may not be intended.) I think Ishca needs to get in touch with his own feelings. It must be really difficult to be an empath. Where does your own feelings end and the other one's start? In fact, all three of them seem to have a rather poor sense of self. All a bit lost. Well, now at least they have each other.

Prompt 399 - The Snore
Puppilull commented on Mann Ramblings's story chapter in Prompt 399 - The Snore
A rubber cock self defense class -something I could see myself take! This prompt made me miss your stories. It's been a bit quiet lately, even if I haven't quite recovered after the Tijuana-experience... I read more of your older prompts. One thing led to another and I started reading Rath's and Shawn's story again. Only problem now is my life keeps intruding on my reading time... -
Wow! That was quite an awakaning for Alex. It will be very interesting to see how he plans to do this. Who will stand by his side and who will fight him?

Prompt 397 - The Accident
Puppilull commented on Valkyrie's story chapter in Prompt 397 - The Accident
That was very sweet. I hope they can work together on getting Seth back to health. I don't know why I read prompt stories. I always end up wanting more! Almost like a form of strange yet delicious torture... -
It's sad to hear about your loss. Hopefully, the service can give you and your family a chance to celebrate their love and lives. Regarding love, I don't think a love lost or a love that doesn't conquer all is any less love than one that spans decades. Love can be fleeting but very important at the time nontheless. I mean, the first love very rarely lasts but who can deny its overwhelming power? Some people are in your life for a while, then life changes. People change. We move on. But the love was still love. Maybe Rustle is right. It only metamorphoses. Then again, having someone in your life for a very long time is undeniably an amazing experience. I've been with my partner for over 20 years and the thought of us breaking up is almost unthinkable. But we would survive. And our life together would still have been amazing. Our love just as true. Just some rambling thoughts...

Hello instant family! No, just kidding. Never insta-anything with you, Sasha. I got a bit sad though at that ending. Ishca really thinks he has nothing to offer but his beauty and flirtatious charm. Aki has his work cut out for him. Hopefully, he doesn't burn the house down in the process...

Great story! I think it ended at just the right time. Brett showed us he is indeed proud. Not hiding, not ashamed of who he is. Facing life head on, good or bad. Patrick's answer isn't important, even though I am curious.

I read the story in one go (almost, had to go to bed right in the middle of Drake's and Alec's fight...) and I found it both romantic and thrilling. Thanks for sharing! I must confess that I thought the Winterblade wouldn't be an actual sword, but instead the magical union between a Hunter and a Guardian choosing love over war. When Drake used his electric shock device, I was expecting the Earth to shake again and our lovers filled with enormous power the significance of which they wouldn't understand at first. They'd just know they had to be together. Now that Drake found a map, I guess there really is a sword. Maybe our warriors can end the war using it for good?

Good! Things are looking up again! I must say I feel your writing has really evolved during this story. The flow is better and the dialogue more natural now when compared to the first few chapters. The feeling of the story is however the same, which is great since that is what made me follow it in the first place. You've kept the emotion and added some technique. Impressive!

Poor, poor Gabe... Luckily, he has Ryle to be there for him like he was for Ryle in the beginning.

I think Liv is in for a big surprise... Someone's powers seems to be waking up!
-
Such a great story! I was going to say what Gary just said and he said it so well. I'll just say Dito!
-
Hmm... Didn't see that coming. In my (overactive) mind, the story was going somewhere completely different. Content check could mean something very good or very bad. Intriguing! Craftingmom not liking a cliffhanger? A taste of her own medicine...

I just read the whole story and must say I really like it! The mix between reality and fantasy is funny but somehow not over the top. It's a bit sad Jonas' life took such a turn that even this truly strange new world hardly makes him lift an eyebrow. Anything is better. I would be freaking out, even if Opie seems very nice. Just a little theme song for Jonas... Eiffel 65 I'm Blue Da Ba Dee Video (original vid):

Oh, so many good ideas here! Of course the nobility gets their nickers in a twist when the king has a male hybrid for a mate. No heir in sight! That simply can't be done! Polanthia uses the unrest to naybe seize the mines. Kayden (who of course has kept up his training in fighting) goes with Damien to prove himself. On their travels they come across a couple of orphans, parents killed by the Polanthians. Gruesome, but you do gruesome so well. Of course Kayden sees himself in them and has to take care of them. Throw in some general heroism and a little (or a lot) of love... Ok, if you don't write more, I will just fantasise... Great story! But I think you figured that out already.

Oh, this would be an interesting story to read. A Mayan in todays society! Loved the short story too.

He, he! Nice story. I've never been sprayed by a skunk, but the kiddies have been sick on me a few times. Still, we manage to keep the romance somehow. It's just a little different nowadays.
-
"I see". That had me laughing. You could tell Damien wanted to go off on someone about something, but he managed to keep quiet. I do believe Kayden and Damien need some time together, alone. Please..?
-
I must say I worried there for a moment. Not that I'm a total sucker for happy endings. But they are just so NICE... As I said before, this makes so much more sense to me. Now, they have both grown and can perhaps be themselves in this elationship. (I misspelled, but it somehow seemed right for this couple so I didn't change it...)

Seriously Now! - An Epilogue, Sort Of…
Puppilull commented on Aditus's story chapter in Seriously Now! - An Epilogue, Sort Of…
Aahhh...! My little romantic heart just did a little dance! Thank you!
