    Liam Again?

OK, not sure if flirting like that at a work meeting would make me very happy. Liam could just have sent him a text or waited until the meeting was over. Cheeky... But Seth needs a little excitement in his life, so a date can't hurt. Unless there really is a work related reason why they shouldn't. Doesn't sound like it though.

    Seth's Dilemma

LOL What a day to rip your pants! And I'm not sure about leather pants, as few people can pull them off (or on...), but it's better than flashing everyone.

    Chapter 15

These were some battle weary guys who returned to their homes... I think Deke was right in making Park wait until the next day. He's in no condition to interrogate anyone. He'd rip out their throats in seconds... No, he needs a long, relaxing night's sleep. Maybe cuddled up with a certain someone... LOL

    Chapter 15

I think that visit to the cemetery was much needed, even if it left Liam raw. Getting those emotions out is necessary to move forward. He won't get over what happened with his parents, but he can begin to deal with his emotions. I for one am sure his dad did the best he could. Not all of us are able to display our emotions. It doesn't mean they aren't there. Frustrating, sure, but not done out of malice. I'm thinking Liam knows by now he should give Alek another chance. His heart is practically yelling at him to get going. He should take a chance.

    Chapter 7

Oh, poor Adrian! What happened npw? I do hope he hasn't done something really stupid... Corey is being a bit goofy, but how is he to know just how closeted Adrain is. Even to himself. The reverend and Corey's mother is way out of line. She's not going for custody then, I take it? Because I'd say she just blew it royally. Or perhaps Corey is already 18? Good to see that he and Brett can at least work together. They'll need it on the field if nothing else.

    Chapter 6

Coach may be scary but he knows his players. And he's right. Running away is tempting, but seldom a practical and long term solution. Corey will encounter other people during his life that he'll need to get along with despite having issues with them. Granted, few will be as heartbreaking as his fall out with Brett, but he should learn to face his trouble and deal with it. Also, I hope he takes it easy with Adrian. Don't turn him into some rebound guy. He seems much too nice for that.

    Notebook

It's strange how the world can tilt and suddenly even familiar things are completely different. Arlo should have avoided hurting others, but sometimes you make the wrong decision. We know nothing of his life or background. Perhaps it was impossible to admit his feelings? To others and to himself. But the truth is out now. Who knows where they'll end up, but I think it's a better place than denial and not knowing.

    Aftermath

Yes, that is definitely the key sentence here. If everyone is in agreement and honesty gets priority, life and love can take on many forms. They couldn't very well not talk about it. Should have planned this a bit more perhaps, but sometimes you go with the flow. I hope they can keep up the openness and communication. They build their own life together. Well, you were so right about their spur of the moment thing was not the best thinking they've done... Rules sound so severe, but in reality they help us avoid hurting each other or messing things up. So they might tread a bit more carefully now. Until the stars align again and that urge makes a reappearance. I doubt I could either. I'm not sure I could relax and just go with it. But I can see the allure it has and understand how it can be very pleasurable. If they can hold on to that "we" and not let their individual desires run away with them, I think they'll be just fine. As a lawyer, I'm not as intimidated by the idea of a contract, but I can see how it could be a mood killer for most. Still, to have things on paper make them more real and it's not as easy to twist things into something that wasn't the initial idea. Just make sure it's a refelction of the consensus of that "we". Openness can be a problem for many, myself included. So much gets caught up in emotion and the fear of hurting someone. When in reality, the silence or assumptions can hurt much more. Communication is rarely the cause of problems. Still, hard to do... And thanks to you all who have given me food for thought for the next Drift. It's gathering in the corners of my mind...!

    Chapter 12

Oh, this is getting so nailbitingly exciting, I can hardly wait for the next chapter! Kian is playing a high stakes game here, and who knows how things will turn out? Will he stay alive long enough for reinforcements?
  10. You can't save everyone. And the pain never fully goes away.
  11. Such happy news! Congratulations! Goblin is very young and truly understanding there's another little human on the way is next to impossible for grown ups, so he probably won't. Still, being very hands on, talking about babies, letting him visit the growing belly etc could prepare him. Maybe counting down with some sort of calendar? As for jealousy... Who knows? My oldest never showed any jealousy, but she's very independent. Only solution is to love and love and love, with some patience. And I think you already do that.

    Aftermath

As Joel poured himself another cup of coffee during their lazy Saturday breakfast, he glanced over to Lucas who as usual was engrossed in something on his tablet. It could be world events or the latest on the Kardashians. Lucas had a tendency to read everything and anything, his curiosity about the world and people driving him to read incessantly. Despite Lucas repeatedly telling him the opposite, Joel sometimes felt uninformed and even stupid, since he just couldn’t keep his focus on much other

    One More Solstice

These sneak peeks into other worlds and lives are thought provoking and leaves me wanting more. You do the shorts so well!

    Chapter 14

Seems this is just what Liam needs. A bit of time with his friends and perhaps Allow can ask the right questions to make his mind clearer.

    Questions

The big question brought on perhaps by the other big issue Geoff is wrestling with. So, one thing at a time. Just when? Tony can probably be quite persuasive. Better start planning.
  16. So our gang seems to have made it. Question is if they've found all of the hunted? Or should Park hurry back to Ritch? The guy in the back will hopefully provide much needed information. Good thing killer instincts can be mastered.
  17. Not the best timing to lay on a kiss perhaps, but I can understand Park not wanting to leave Ritch without letting him know how he feels. And then the action starts...
  18. That must have been a load off all of their backs. To be free and ready to take things to the next level. And with Victoria as a friend still. She must've had an inkling things were coming to an end or she wouldn't have been so incredibly calm. But she probably realizes it's for the best.

    Chapter 4

Well, I'd say good riddance, but it must hurt to have a parent opt you out of their life. I can't even imagine doing anything like that. For any reason. It could be too raw, but maybe he should talk to Brett?
  20. I sooo hear you...!

    Dean

I can assure you I didn't feel any kind of pressure to write this chapter. It's something those voices in my head talked about, so I wrote it. I tried to be open about the content, to warn readers who don't like additional people involved. I suppose we have a different idea about who Joel and Lucas are. To me, this is very Joel. Something he's dreamed of for a very long time. And yes, many fantasies remain just that. This one didn't.
  22. I can totally relate to the being in character thing and being able to do things you don't normally feel comfortable doing. I did drama in school and still use those skills in my daily life. At work especially, to help me go against my naturally shy personality. They are very sensible boys. I was not as sensible at that age... LOL
  23. Poor Isaac... So many bad memories being stirred. Good for him he has his Meta and pack mates to take his mind of things. And another threat to WWP is dealt with.
