The rollercoasterride of youth... All those emotions running so high, letting you hit the lowest low at times, only to bounce right up again. A little wiser and as Oliver said more tempered.
Patrick should have been honest, but I guess he can very well have believed his own rationalisation for picking up with Alyssa before ending things with Oliver. I can't understand why he gave him the necklace, though. That borders on outright cruelty.
And it is! I was just wondering what the message was supposed to be. Something went very wrong.
Like this seasonal greeting from Swedish state owned property management company:
Yay, Glittery! I knew I could trust you! Now, about design... Does anyone have an artistic flare beyond words...? I can write but I can't draw to save my life. Even had to enlist help to get my GA banner...
If people could be more open at times and allow themselves to divert from the mainstream, I think more would be happier and some relationships last longer. Sure, being more than two people takes a bit of work, but twosomes aren't exactly a picnic either. Being open to meet your and your partner's needs is difficult, no matter how many you are. I can sort of picture them all living together somewhere. One big, happy family.
A chapter which was both happy and depressing. Very nice to see Alek be so open. BP rising over the idiots, especiallythe violent one.
And now a little sleep over...
I find it so adorable that Rob asks his 15 yo brother about the essence of true love. Youth never denies itself on holding all the answers. Sure, people on occasion do meet their life partners at such a young age, but more likely Eric and Nelson will have a great relationship and then grow apart. Does that mean it wasn't love? In my book, no. It's love until it isn't anymore. Doesn't detract from the intensity or validity of their feelings now. I just think we need to get over this 'one true love' idea. It puts such unnecessary expectations on people's relationships. So instead of enjoying the love you have, you look for that unicorn...
