    What a burden to carry around... Poor Andy. And it's true that silence can be almost as bad. Difficult to forgive himself. And now things heat up...!

    Ugh, what a mess. Sounds to me like they've found a nice way to make money in unnecessary tests. My hubby has had surgery on his knee twice and neither time did he do any of those tests. Swedish medical care isn't exactly shabby, so I wonder why you need all those tests. Unless they have reason to suspect something. Very strange system...

    Good for Alek to stand up to his dad. Must be so terribly hard. Now, Liam only has to sway his friends in Alek's favour... Not easy when they care so deeply for him.

    I would say I do the opposite. I try to push my emotions as much as possible into the characters I write. How else would I get them to come to life? But then again, my writing is driven by the characters, so they need to be people. And people are full of emotions, good and bad.

    That ending had me guffawing so loud the girls looked at me funny. We authors are a bit cannibalistic, picking the choicest bits and pieces of the people we meet and then fleshing them out with our own ideas and experiences. Almost like an elaborate and comolicated therapy session.
