    Do It

I sincerely hope you can do both. Find a center and feel. But if you need to, close the lid for a moment. Don't spread yourself too thin and burn out.

    Mac's Task

Again, I get stuck on mindfulness. I love dancing and your poem beautifully links it to one of the other things I enjoy... Ehum... But I think you're on to something here. That letting go, the surrender to something else and letting it guide you even if you start out feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I so enjoy surrender... Good job, Drew!

    Musings

LOL I could use a muse myself. Luckily, my regular one hasn't made good on his threats of payment of a very particular nature. I hope he doesn't read this and get any ideas. And I love musee...
  4. I love what you did with my crazy words! Turns out they became a rather crazy story... LOL Quite surreal and entertaining too!

    Mystery Machine

I thought of a book I once read where the world disappeared from under a group of people escaping on a plane. What a horror to have all of reality warp into something new... Tricky combination of words, but you used them really cleverly.

    Chapter 20

So what will the verdict be? Could his father actually have come to terms with things? Not very likely the way their row was described. Liam doesn't seem to be fit for another fight, even if it doesn't turn physical. And they were having such a lovely time...
  7. Even if it makes leaving more difficult, I think it's good the guys got a little one on one time. So cute Ritch wants to sleep in his mate's bed! They will be an impressive troop. Trein is toast...

    Mirror Mirror

That's some way to wake up! Good to see Seth is beginning to realise he can move on and leave Kris behind.
  9. Oh Drew... Don't finish it. Just like Guero will always live in your heart, there should be no end. Hugs! I feel so deeply for you.

    Cherry Pie Short

Tricky situation. The heart knows what it wants, but it's a terrible idea... It would be interesting to hear their story.
  11. Oh, what a relief it was all just a scene in a scene... LOL To ruin someone's wedding day takes a special kind of douchebag.
  12. Oh my... What was in that coffee? Or the cereal? Besides, anyone would faint at being told they were getting married by a tall, blue guy... My mind is trying to come up with a continuation. I'm right now thinking he won't want to get married, but perhaps has to for some reason. Hmm... *loses herself in thought*

    An Uncommon Daisy

But there was a daisy and they will have to cling to the hope that there will be one or a whole carpet of them again sometime. Difficult to hold onto something so frail as a flower, but sometimes frail is all you have.
  14. I'm glad to hear you say that! I wasn't fishing for compliments (not only at least ), but was wondering if this could make if safely outside my head. Thank you! Maybe kitty had some claws then? LOL Cats definitely rule. They made me a bit curious about who they are, but it would take some massive research to take this further. I feel I got rather kind words to work with. Didn't expect to go to Salem though... If being wrong means you like it, then I don't mind. Thanks! I'm glad you liked my little game entry. It was a bit of a surprise when the idea hit me. I guess I followed the cat. Thank you! It's good to hear from a writer I like so much. Yeah, I picture them somewhere far away from the meanies, being able to be themselves. No bad luck from that cat. Thank you for your kind words! The short scenes sort of sneak up on me. It's freeing to write without plotting and practically without thinking. Thanks! It feels good that I made you feel for my protagonists. They deserve some happiness and maybe that's round the corner! Such praise! I'm blushing here... Thank you! Writing this I put in a lot of time and effort, making changes and working on the tone. I wonder what would happen if I spent as much time on my other writing...? Darn laziness... These short story things are really so much fun! A way to just let yourself go a little crazy in your writing. To see how others did it is almost as fun as writing myself. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Tack! I hope so too. They should get some peace and quiet in a more liberal place somewhere.

    Courting Ruin

Giggle... Yes, the little hellraisers can be a handful. If Joey is that sensitive, maybe they should’ve considered adopting a grown cat...? His poor robes...
  16. That turned out to be a sad one... The things we do to escape troubling emotion. You incorporated the words really well.
  17. So much fun to see what we did with our words! Reading the stories, it seems to me 500 words seem to go a lot further for others than for me... I'm impressed by how much you can convey under that restraint.
  18. This one had me laughing! Geometrical love... I kept mumbling "Don't be a square" or "That threw them through a loop...". Language is just so much fun to play with and explore. You did a great job with these words. So imaginative!

    False Flag

For such a short piece, you sure get a lot of story in there. I struggle so much to get rid of my wordiness, I'm impressed by this. And now I wonder - was it a false flag?

    My Champion

I'm guessing the sponsor will find out more than he bargained for during this month, making it really hard to give his champion back to storage. I picture a wild escape through space, proton torpedos and hiding in strange corners of the universe.
  21. This news made me happy! Good to see you here again!

    Davey Bishop

LOL Now I'm curious! Who is the father? Davey or not? GAH! Snippets! I'm impressed you managed to get so much story in there!
  23. Nathaniel opened the front door and found a cat. He stared, shocked, but then he remembered they had a sock filled with cat nip hanging outside the front door to lure the last remaining foul creatures out of hiding. Still, to see a living cat so close was jolting nonetheless. Ever since the High Council had declared the evil beings banished a few years back, cats had been continuously caught and killed. All in an attempt to cleanse the town of Satan’s influence. But could that really be done so

I finally had time to read your story, since I didn't want to read it in pieces. Such a beautiful tale of destined love! I appreciate how you make it not be just sweet and romantic, but show how the connection can be so painful. As en ex stable girl, all the horse stuff made me feel so at home.
