I think the number of responses for stories might increase when we go from reviews to comments. Why? I can only look to myself. When I first got here, I was convinced I had nothing to add to the stories I read since I wasn't a writer, wasn't native English speaking, didn't have a degree in literature (silly, but I actually thought that)... In other words, I felt my humble opinion wasn't going to improve somebody's day. Then I started reading a series where I simply had to comment and rant, so I joined. Slowly, my nerves calmed down and I realized I was welcome to leave a comment and didn't have to go for a full blown review (including feedback on style and such). Then when I started writing myself, I realized just how happy a writer gets for a comment, a reaction. So while I had increased my reviewing before, I'm almost manic now. So I try, but there is as you said a lot to read. But if we can make it less serious and dramatic to leave a response, I think more will dare to do so. Also, if people understood how much fun can be had in forums, that would increase too. But that is perhaps a different story.

To have half year in each form together is a good compromise. Not like Ladyhawk... So a happy end for our couple. And Willy Jack got his comeuppance!

Now that's a creative process I could get behind! Or in front or under... (BTW, Jack changes names towards the end for a sentence or two, I think. When the jacking occurs...)

As far as Enemy goes, I thought that was always the Lord. Every boy born has the potential to build his army and fight the Lord. Many of them didn't succeed, so another boy was needed. The connections made over time was some I had thought materialized after Colt was born, so I can't really explain the letter. Colt assembles his army and for that his prefernces need to be known. As each boy is different, it would be impossible to know this beforehand. It seems not even the goddesses know what their boys will choose for an army. Colt has shaped his army to suit his desires as they need that deep love and affection to make it through the battle against evil. The army in turn has shaped Colt too, even if he perhaps doesn't see it all the time. Not physically but emotionally Colt has grown a lot. Smith and Hitler failed since they ended up glorifying themselves and useing their army to sing their praises and fight battles for their fame and infamy. Haliburt is perhaps not all good, but he does seem to have a very close relationship with his army, just as Colt has. They very apparently dote on him and love him, when most others only see a slightly repulsive man... That said, I very much like the idea of us being connected to people even without having met them. It is perhaps crazy, but sometimes I meet people and just connect in a way that can't be logcally explained. Or it probably can be, but not by me. So a predetermined deeper understanding of each other would make a sort of sense.

I’m so happy for Gavin, that his wait is over. He’s wanted this for so long and his nervous anticipation is adorable. Brian has grown during the years and now he can embrace the addition of Gavin in a more relaxed way. He’s come a long way. And he shouldn’t sell himself short. He’s smarter than he gives himself credit. He does outthink the Meta, only perhaps in issues he doesn’t think about. Such as the trust issues. That’s where Brian has done so much for Colt.

Now that was dramatic! But also sad. I feel sorry for Liam to feel so alone in the world now that he's in need of help. And Alek getting girlfriend. A proper Russian one...? He certainly seems to have his own personal hell.

That was an unexpected story! But I love how you just won't confine yourself to one genre or style. Even if I feel sorry for Miss Silver, I'm curious to see how she handles the curse and the breaking thereof.

The kids were watching a show. Made me think of Emmett, Jian and Huan-Yu. The brown bear though...

The only logical course of action. I mean who could resist Jahke?

Well, love can only get you so far. Living a half life isn't enough in the long run. Perhaps Alek will understand that in the future. Though that future might be without Liam.

Sweetie, you're not a weirdo! They are challenging stories, Tobias and Zai in particular. But daylight and a drink sound about right for it...

Nassau and Kiorl so sad and lonely while Lahja is learning more wonderous things you can experience with a body. At first, I thought Kiorl would make a first move, but I guess it will have to be Lahja. Kiorl is too scared to scare him off and I suspect Lahja will not be able to contain his curiosity for much longer.

Good for Hrishi to make demands and not give in to temptation. I wonder if Marty's friends are the reason he's reluctant to come out...? Or does his parents have something to do with that? Either way, Marty has some thinking to do. Will he be able to be himself? Or will he opt to stay hidden? He has great incentive.

So they run? Well, seems the only way forward now. So does this mean there's only one assassin left to deal with? Should be a very good one, since they should save the best for last. And then of course deal with the real reason Daven is on a hit list. Very thrilling story! And I like both Kian and Daven. Must be very difficult for a doctor to relate to an assassin. Opposite ends...

She was probably being modest. To her, more dogs are always better! In related news, she started off this morning by asking how we now that we are living and not just part of someone's dream... Little Meta child! LOL

I'd like to think that Gary and Val are right on the money here, but I can't really tell since I'm one of those who write people different from me regarding for instance sex. I would hope my readers would tell me if I was way off in my description of a guy. My outlook when writing a character is that they are human just like me. But I try to listen and learn.

Well, I guess they can spend these four months getting to know each other... After that, who knows?

I think Jian is right. Of course, they can have both. It's not like Emmett has to live at the North Pole all year round? Or Jian can't stay away from the ocean at all? He's managed fine for months now. So they'll work it out. Nice to see Zeke feels no bitterness. Might feel weird though, if Jian and Zeke become friends... But Zeke seems basically like a good person, so what's the harm?

Today's double episode was satisfying but puzzling (as usual). I got the distinct impression, for example by Brian's fading and the fact that all the women were sprung from Haliburt's desires, that they are all just in Colt's mind. He created them all and they can only exist in his delusion. I can't decide if this is sad or not. I guess you could have much worse company in your mind than the 8 wolves. But the next few weeks will tell us...

My youngest suddenly declared she wanted six wolf dogs, five to make up her bed and one for a pillow... Maybe I should get some of those plushies...?

I'm thinking that is Renee... And I love that movie!

I haven't written very many 'real' prompt responses, but I am rather proud of my first prompt ever written for GA, prompt 438. The story was a response to the prompt and specifically all the calm, cool and collected vampires that flooded GA that week. So they meet... I wonder what Daven saw. Something he hasn't understood the significance of. I think he needs to leave to keep Naomi and the kuds safe. Interesting to see Kian so drawn to ordinary life. I guess he's never known life like that and it puzzles him.
