    Well I'm a brand new writer on GA and I have to say that the reviews DO mean a lot. When the first review hit my first chapter, I said 'holy shit, somebody read my story!' Now I look forward to the comments and I think they sometimes even subconsciously affect the story line! One thing it did for me was to make me a more diligent 'commenter' on stories I read here. (I like comment better too.)

    An enjoyable chapter Mark. This is an area of history in which I am sadly thin. So, aside from the well written story, you are filling in my gaps of knowledge in a most entertaining way. I'm with Ricky on Daventry, but probably just because he's a spook. If history books were written like this, it would be one of the glamour subjects.

    Nice chapter Mark. The best thing about it ...I really shouldn't put it that way, there were lots of lines that this chapter developed and moved forward in the story ...what I should say is that there seems to be a development of character, or interaction of characters, between JJ and Will that makes me anticipate what they will be like, individually and with each other, when the story reaches 10 years from its present setting. When those two will be inheriting the power they're toying with right now. But I tend to fall into that trap instead of enjoying the ride. Sorry. Can't wait for the next chapter ...obviously!

    Yes indeed. Mom's plan. Jason needs to be very careful. He needs to clearly think this through and not become an unwitting pawn in Mom's plan. Being angry is not enough. He needs to be a force of nature himself. I'm not sure Adam can help him, but I'm hoping he can and will be the wildcard Mom didn't anticipate. Can't wait!

    As drpaladin said, a story that needed to be told. There was never any doubt where it was heading as each chapter led us to this inevitable final moment. Ironic how Nathan knew what Josh's reaction would be to most things throughout the 10 chapter path to this ultimate moment, even knowing he would retrieve and watch the video ...all except his reaction to that public revelation at the party. Sad, that. Well done!

    Another Benny chapter! Actually, quite a few things went on here, not the least of which was Callie going through the day and not overthinking but actually thinking, until he finally realized what he had. Nice CG. Take a day off, you dun good! But don't forget to start on 33 soon.

    Hey Defiance, thanks for that. I thought that after his Sunday contemplation, he would start taking control (which he says he always does) but it seems like Gary is going to outmaneuver him, and it's only Monday!

    You're right CG. For a smart kid (he keeps telling us that, doesn't he) he seems to be lacking in "street smarts". I hope he doesn't make too many "plans" because cruising along at 100 mph, he's certainly not watching for the potholes.

    It is a touching movie, as was the short film it sprang from. I have had close contact with only one blind person, I'm sorry to say. He was much older than me and died a few years ago when I was in my early 20s. The one thing that impressed my young mind was how simple his life was. That is, simple in friendliness, honesty and love for people. I don't know if that was his inborn nature or related to his long life of being blind. I guess now I'll never know. What I do know is there was some of that in this movie and it gave me warm memories of my departed friend.

    I wasn't around GA when you wrote this, but I'm grateful that I found it. Aside from some of the issues that parallel my own emerging beliefs, it was incredibly well done with reflections back to Dickens too. An uncomfortable idea, certainly not coined by me, the irony that Jesus Christ would certainly not be welcome in many Christian communities today, nor probably even be a Christian. But I'm still learning.

    Having experienced a jillion years of Latin , you don't know how difficult it is for me to not use the subjunctive when David and Twoey are describing their points of view. But not too many 15 year old kids use the subjunctive case, at least not since about 500 AD. So I just wince and carry on. O! Utinam ne pueri Diligibat!!

    And the saga continues... This was a very nice chapter, especially about the guilt. I don't see that mentioned too often, but I remember it still, from those days of my very earliest fantasies. Luckily I had the sense to abandon that. But I suppose it could become crippling ...well if THAT isn't the kernel for some future story ...haha Anyway, fine insight into the mind of Brandon. Nice work MrM. I'm gonna like this story. Keep 'em coming!
