  1. Interesting timing because I just got back from my walk in the cold night air. For me, Walks are for a time of reflection, reflections that evolve as the journey progresses. Early worries or thoughts of life past and present and what we must do to carry on give way to a positive outlook for the future. The end of the journey finds the goal accomplished or surpassed - a positive boost to the psyche that's for sure. Gary, I see that same journey in the words you write. As always, nicely done.
  2. Poweful words telling a powerful message - a message that is beyond the grasp of fools. As always, nicely done Gary
  3. Hey Tim It's never any trouble reading your words. I look forward to them all...yes, even the sad ones. They may be melancholy but their is a powerful beauty in them too. Being able to express one's thoughts so eloquently that the reader cannot turn away is a gift. A gift you have in boundless amounts. As always, nicely done.
  4. It's really sweet that they took the time and made an effort to answer Oliver's question as accurately as possible. I bet he was pleased as punch that they did.
  5. Him too and like Mark Harmon, he aged very nicely...
  6. I've liked Mark Harmon since the first time I saw him in a guest role on Emergency .....he just keeps getting better with age.
  7. First I have to say thanks to Def for giving me this idea - I think you know what I am talking about. Now for my review Mr. Promising Author. :wizard I totally agree with Agnes and Carson gifting Kendall, Michael and Baby with a finished family room. It makes sense for a lot of reasons. Most importantly, it will give a lot of joy to Agnes and Carson as they watch their sons and grandson use and enjoy this room. I know that wasn't the argument they used, but... Secondly, for Carson, it is a way for him to make amends for some of his past behaviour. He knows he did wrong and he is determined to make it up now by being the best dad and grandpa he can be - so he spoils them a little - that's his job. Now for Michael and Kendall's second BIG NIGHT. The scene was beautifully written and so believable. Everybody should be so lucky.... I really do wish I knew Michael, Kendall, Nate, Bodie, Colleen, Big Mike, Agnes and Carson for real.
  8. Hey Tim I have a new favourite Christmas Carol -- what a delightful little tune. As always, nicely done.

Hey Tim The good thing about knowing he is there, is that you can't be blindsided (at least not too much). My hope is that he moves on to a new locale sooner rather than later. As always, nicely done.
  10. This sweet photo will make you smile... http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/season-of-kindness/birthday-cake-decorated-employee-autism-goes-viral-n472841
  11. Happy Birthday!!!
  12. Happy birthday to a truly wonderful, wise and humble man who I feel blessed to know and call my friend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARY!!!!
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  14. :wizard: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :wizard:
  15. Love is wonderful but it is capable of causing a mighty big ache too. Brilliant expression of inner feelings, but they bring out a need in me to give you a hug so here it is. As always, well done Gary
  16. Hey tim Forgiveness is a testimony of the strong bond that you and Michael share. It really is heartening to know that love can survive if one can look beyond the mistake and see that it is only an action and not the person themselves. People are not infallible... Stew. It made me hungry - despite the turkey dinner, pumpkin pie snd trifle (get this, my SIL made the non-alcoholic adult kind Yay!). I want some now....
  17. Hey tim Who knew that Faris had it in him to be so romantic? What a wonderful holiday surprise and I can't recall the last time the build up to a wedding (and a surprise one at that) was so full of magic and fun. Of course, I didn't guess that was what was happening but I don't think many other readers did either. Absolutely delightful tale from start to finish full of love, happiness, hijinks galore and more! Well done tim, well done!!
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADI!!!
  19. Out of Likes Lit took the words right out of my mouth. The vividness of the words that described an amazing journey. Very powerful yet very touching as well - It is as if the reader is there to see it all. Well done Gary
  20. Hey tim Strong emotions in both Guilt and Falling. Two poems that tell amazing stories of a love so strong that it can crack but never break. As always, nicely done
  21. All I'm getting is a screen shot without sound - the time counter is moving. Oh well, I will have to wait.
  22. Message says this video is not available in my country... Oh wait. I'm going to be in the right country on Thursday....disaster averted
  23. I am out of likes, so I'll do that later. You did really well with the Prompt C. The dialogue was honest and believable. I found myself caring about both Aaron and Max and hoping there would be a happy resolution to their crisis. You should definitely do another Prompt or two or three...well, you get the picture.
  24. There is happiness in this poem but it is tempered by sadness and doubt. But is the doubt the real truth or is it a product of the early morning hours when it is quiet and there is time to think too much? I'm inclined to believe it is the latter and not the former. Sometimes good things seem too impossible, so we doubt them...it's hard to take that leap of faith and give trust a chance. Be brave and the rewards will be great.
  25. :wizard: HAPPY BIRTHDAY drp!!! :wizard:
