Well, that was a treat getting to chapters in one week. My first thought is Cesar and Brett need to go on a date. Not a lunch out, but a date! Their mojo is broken and they need to get it back, ASAP. Dragon and King - I guess we shouldn't be too surprised that they crashed. I just hope they can fix their relationship...time, distance, talking, and a lot of grovelling on Dragon's part will tell. It was a bit of deja vu, what with the boys meeting (at least some of) the Eight at Danno's for lunch - just like CJ did in Summer. And speaking of CJ, what an awesome tour of Chicago. I know people who go to Chicago annually for a conference and they never once toured the submarine or anything else interesting - I know because I processed the receipts I never wanted to go myself, but now I do and guess where I will be going? I think too, I am happy with the way things turned out for CJ and Orlando. Orlando being older could have taken advantage of CJ, but he didn't and that resulted in a good first time experience for our boy. Now, as for next week...I read your comments to Daddy D about "getting by", but I don't believe that for a second. Whatever happens next week will be more than just "getting by" I am sure of that! As always, thanks for a great chapter Carlos.

    Chapter 19

So happy to see MD get her just desserts! It is poetic justice, I think, that she met her end in that basement. My hope is that she is stuck there for eternity - going to Hell is to good for her. Eddie, such a sweet soul, it is so awful what MD put him through. Bryan, Wyatt, and Eddie have a long road ahead of them as they deal with the aftermath of MD's treachery. I think the fallout will be immense and their journeys will be different and yet, they will be the same. One thing I am sure of, they will be there for each other. With MD dead, some questions may go unanswered...Like did "Papa" really die by accident? Awesome chapter CM. Thank you!
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!
  4. Growing up and getting past "the past" isn't always easy. But letting go, looking ahead and not back will set you free. Damn, didn't mean to turn this into a into a cliche, sorry about that. What was said and what you wrote, holds a lot of truth. Well done and don't stop writing. We appreciate your talent.
  5. Tim You truly are a gifted story teller. It doesn't matter if the tale is short or long, you always manage to convey so much. Your words make me stop and think about what is being said. Thank you for sharing them.

First off, I'm not griping, complaining, moaning or whining (well maybe just a tad...) but I just wanted to say while I loved this chapter (never a doubt, I would), I miss not having at least a little peek into the goings on of Cesar and Brett. I guess with CJ away, they had plans that didn't include us... Not sure how I feel about CJ's visit with his cousins. They seem to be forgetting that he is six years their junior so at quite a different stage in life. He's being exposed to situations he (by what we've seen) has not encountered before and, therefore, handling said appropriately could prove difficult. I'm sure Cesar and Brett have had "the talk" with him on more than one occasion, but it's a whole other thing to be in that situation. Time (and the next chapter) will tell how this all plays out. As for Dragon and King, they are adults. If they want to have fun in a way that suits them, that's okay. Looks like CJ's posse is about to get another member and Walls another student. Chip's kids obviously take after their mother with a good dose of influence from Doc. It's good that they don't take after Chip because, in truth, his life is pretty shallow and empty. Or it will be when he finally wakes up.... Now to my favourite part of the chapter - Tom, "Pops" (love the chosen moniker Carlos) and their boys Brad and Paddy. It's been a month of having contact with their dad, so it shouldn't be a surprise how they interact - despite Tom's obvious case of nerves at the airport - but it was still felt really good to witness how easily and happily they interacted with each other. Noting JP's revelation that he was a "father" now was interesting. He didn't ever consider that role in his life, but it seems now that the situation has presented itself, he seems happy with taking it on. As always, wonderful chapter Carlos. Next Wednesday can't get here fast enough!
  7. I have to confess that when I saw that chapter 41 was posted that is all that I saw. I bypassed the title (didn't even glance at it) and dove right into the story. I was very eager to start reading more of Michael and Kendall's story... I loved the afterglow (both in their actions and their words) of their love making, it was the sweet icing on the cake. Sharing their happiness with Chet and Arron made sense. Not only because of their friendship but, I think anyway, that as two gay men who also recently found love, C and A could truly appreciate what M and K have together. Gary, by not reading the chapter title, I missed the foretelling of the curveball you threw out there as a monkey wrench in the boys' happiness. At first I was alarmed by the description of Colleen and Big Mike's physical appearance. I was glad that they are okay, but saddened by the appearance of Nate who had obviously been through something terrible. Hard to believe knowing what Colleen, Big Mike and Mike are like that the sister could be married (as for her attitude?,TBD) to a homophobic jerk. Well, all I can say to that is, thank goodness he had somewhere to go where he was guaranteed to find love and acceptance. I look forward to hearing more of his story. As always, a wonderful chapter Gary. Thank you.

    Just a Cereal

It was good catching up with Avery again. He's still struggling with his past, but he is putting it in his past. One grain of oatmeal at a time CM, I think you've captured the reality of Avery's healing journey beautifully.

    Confession

When it's unexpected, it's all the more special. Ian just wanted a distraction from his pain, but found love with a good man instead. Sweet...
  10. Okay, so the poem was a little melancholy throughout as the favoured seasons passed all too quickly into those that were not. I didn't quite understand the meaning of the final words. I read them again and came to the conclusion that they referred to the final cycle of life changes. Time to be accountable for are earlier actions/inactions. Was I close? As always, nicely done Gary.

    Chapter 18

Awesome chapter! The cat's out of the bag and everyone knows what an evil and heartless witch MD really is - she's not going to get a ticket for the Crazy train, that's for sure. Now if Bryan can hold it together until the cavalry gets there.... Thursday is so very far away...
  12. Beautiful, yet so very sad. Brought me to tears. Nicely done Tim
  13. Based on my collection, I'd say you don't have too many. I got rid of overpriced cable, so now I just buy DVDs or use iTunes as well. I should catalogue mine, so I know what I have... Oh, and thanks for the tip about Netflix, I didn't know about shows being removed from the site.

    Chapter 17

Okay, everything that Val said.... But the suspense is killing me I suppose if Wyatt can hold on as long as he has, I can too. It's going to be be very very hard though, must create lots of distractions...
  15. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY D!!!!

    Delicious

Great story. Loved the bits of humour running throughout. I must say you had me going there for a while with wondering what was going on with Faris and his 'requests' for poor James. It was a relief that everything was all just part of a grand surprise for James that Faris wanted to share with family and friends. Homing vase - that to me, was especially clever.
  17. Just got it. It looks really interesting

    Ignored

Loved it. I so did not see that ending coming.
  20. Really sweet that you saved the babies Victor and told in a wonderful story too. out of likes as well.
  21. I wondered how he was doing. Lucky little fella that he was found by such a caring and dedicated "mom" and you to " uncle" since I'm out of likes.

    Chapter 16

Finally! Now if only Bryan and Sarah get to MD's in time along with Nathan andI his partner. I'm guessing that despite the disarray of their emotions, Sarah will have enough presence of mind to call in the calvary - I don't see Bryan being able to do much else other then drive while he rages at his mother and anguishes over Wyatt. Poor guy, his world is in pieces as a result of his mother's' betrayal. On a much happier note, if one can be had in this particular story, did I detect a little bit of interest towards Sarah by Sgt. Woods? Need the next chapter ASAP please....

    Lucky Town

Quite the action packed chapter! First, the amazing dinner with CJ acting so grown up in a tux - until the catcall that is... That he could even think to do that - even if the act was spontaneous - shows just how far he has come since the beginning of Summer. He is a confident young man and it shows. I think the highlight of this chapter for me was Tom's reuniting with his boys. It was emotional for all involved - wonderfully descriptive scene Carlos - but wasn't awkward in the least. It was good to see how easily they interacted together. Paddy and Brad's easy acceptance of their dad and JP was terrific. The dads were little more than props for CJ in this episode, but I'm confident we will see them front and centre soon enough - love those two... for another excellent chapter.
  24. Air Canada pilot diverts international flight to save dog. Two Paws Up for the pilot!! http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/16/travel/air-canada-pilot-diverts-save-dog-feat/index.html
  25. Now that I have read Kendall's Response, I can clearly see both as marriage vows. Both the Ode and the Response speak loudly and clearly of the bottomless depth of Michael and Kendall's love and respect for each other. Their words are truly magical...
