Hey tim I really liked both poems. The first one has visions of a horse drawn sleigh ride because of the mention of the fur lined rug. I think you were searching for warmth do I doubt that was part of you vision. Oh well, it's part of mine and I like it. As for the second, everyone should be able to have both choices...if not, I think the latter choice will bring the most happiness. As always, nicely done.

I have heard countless times that forgiveness is something that will help the forgiver. I don't think that is quite true. 1. Because some people do not deserve forgiveness. 2. Forgiving someone does not wash away the pain, but holding someone accountable - yes. As for you my friend, knowing the kind of man and father you are after having grown up that way...I just have to say thanks for being who you are! :hug:

Hey tim You expressed a wonderful sentiment in the poem. I know what I wanted to do this year, just hadn't figured out a plan as yet. Thanks to a very caring security officer in my building, we are collecting for a group called Eva's Place that helps local youth with shelter and a whole lot more. We can't help everyone, but it certainly is a good feeling knowing that you are helping a "neighbour". I will continue as I am able because it does feel good to help others. Oh, and by the way, you were my inspiration. As always, well done my friend.

His love for David was stronger than the light and it seemed someone else "understood" that and granted a second chance... Riveting tale from start to finish....I could see the desperate struggle very clearly. As always, nicely done Gary.

I didn't realize it right away, but then it hit me that we've met these guys before. It's nice to see how well things are going now. I too liked the "Dad" part - warm fuzzies all around.

That was a terrific story Drew. As I was reading it, I could clearly see the realism in everyone's words and actions. As for the inclusion of the math references.... didn't surprise me in the least. You were losing me with the explanations, but I know that doesn't come as a surprise to you. Well done!!

What a great story that was C. Well done! Maybe you could write a sequel using a Prompt so we can witness Neil and Marius' (love the name - same as one of my relatives) HEA because I'm quite sure that planet is going to be just what they're looking for in a home.

It nearly broke my heart when I realized Romeo no longer remembered Julian. I'm so glad they are getting a second chance. Some thongs are worth waiting for. Love these guys Adi - I still remember the scene with the bike and SUV.

Hey tim It pays to procrastinate and I have proof! I was putting off running an errand and stumbled across this lovely "tail" hehe. A treat from start to finish with fun, frolic, love, sexiness and a bit of déjà vu thrown in for good measure...only thing, now I am done and have no excuse not to do my errand. Grr. As always, it's a delight to take a peak into the lives of James, Faris, Larry and now, little Francis. Nicely done.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Interesting timing because I just got back from my walk in the cold night air. For me, Walks are for a time of reflection, reflections that evolve as the journey progresses. Early worries or thoughts of life past and present and what we must do to carry on give way to a positive outlook for the future. The end of the journey finds the goal accomplished or surpassed - a positive boost to the psyche that's for sure. Gary, I see that same journey in the words you write. As always, nicely done.

Hey Tim It's never any trouble reading your words. I look forward to them all...yes, even the sad ones. They may be melancholy but their is a powerful beauty in them too. Being able to express one's thoughts so eloquently that the reader cannot turn away is a gift. A gift you have in boundless amounts. As always, nicely done.

It's really sweet that they took the time and made an effort to answer Oliver's question as accurately as possible. I bet he was pleased as punch that they did.

I've liked Mark Harmon since the first time I saw him in a guest role on Emergency .....he just keeps getting better with age.

First I have to say thanks to Def for giving me this idea - I think you know what I am talking about. Now for my review Mr. Promising Author. :wizard I totally agree with Agnes and Carson gifting Kendall, Michael and Baby with a finished family room. It makes sense for a lot of reasons. Most importantly, it will give a lot of joy to Agnes and Carson as they watch their sons and grandson use and enjoy this room. I know that wasn't the argument they used, but... Secondly, for Carson, it is a way for him to make amends for some of his past behaviour. He knows he did wrong and he is determined to make it up now by being the best dad and grandpa he can be - so he spoils them a little - that's his job. Now for Michael and Kendall's second BIG NIGHT. The scene was beautifully written and so believable. Everybody should be so lucky.... I really do wish I knew Michael, Kendall, Nate, Bodie, Colleen, Big Mike, Agnes and Carson for real.
