I was going to write that there are no words big enough, deep enough or profound enough for me to express how much this has touched me. But then, I realized your words alone are enough. Thank you for sharing them with us. Ran out of likes so.....

So I just left a review of chapter five for Lies of the Serpent. I then when on to read Val's review because I like to see what other readers have to say. Well didn't I get confused when she started referring to Wyatt's disappearance. I couldn't understand what that was all about. I mean, did I miss something that everyone else in the class knew about? Was I asleep at my desk? After looking around and finding your blog again as I searched for clues, it finally dawned on me to look at the synopsis of the story again. And there it was in black and white. I had forgotten about a major event that was an integral part of the story. At first I thought the Serpent was Darrin. This chapter has altered my thinking to the Serpent likely being female and not male as I had originally assumed. Time and new chapters will tell me if I am correct. In the end, forgetting what was going to happen turned out for the better, I think. It allowed me to be suspicious of the mother, but also had me feeling guilty for thinking such a thought in the first place

I don't want to think I'm right, but I'm suspicious of Bryan's mother. I just can't shake the feeling that something she did (on purpose) is behind his sudden illness. I hope for both Bryan and Wyatt's sake, I am wrong. On a happier note, I loved seeing (in my mind's eye, of course) Wyatt's students come to his defence during the altercation with Darrin.

Your Scariest Word: Taken To The Next Level ?

Ditto rustle's word -
Out of likes... This song and the people showcased in the video truly are inspiring. They are renegades against societal expectations and conventions of what they are expected to be able to achieve. Like those who came before them, each of the people seen or mentioned in the video have broadened the expectations and possibilities of the next generation to come. That is a very good legacy to give to the world.

You may be ticked off, but I'm a happy camper! Just logged on and what did I see but another episode of Trooper Tales. I gather from reading your reply to Drew, that Officer Espinosa's escapades will be behind closed doors now that he has found his Daddy. Too bad for us, but I guess we will have to settle with being happy for Officer E. I wouldn't hold it against you if you changed your mind and did an epilogue....

That chapter was jammed full of warm and fuzzy feel goodness. I loved all the "family" connections running through from start to finish. It was good to see that despite being surrounded by nothing but adults, CJ's child side is strong. Could it be because he is surrounded by men who also have strong 'child sides' as well? As for the younger generation, I'm thinking that Tommy's and JP's fivebedroom house is quite large for just the two of them. Maybe a couple of the extra bedrooms might work nicely for a couple of Boson boys? If they want to have a relationship with their dad, I can't see the close proximity of their homophobic grandparents and uncles helping that relationship along. More than likely, they would try to sabotage it. I look forward to next week, when we get to have a front row seat to Tom and Bradley's telephone call.

It was years ago, but the same thing happened to me. Insurance only allowed for a less expensive bike which wasn't as nice as my red bike. I'm hoping you have better luck :)

The background for each boy is quite different. It will be interesting to see how they come together. Looking forward to more. -

Chapter 35 King of Clubs
Reader1810 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 35 King of Clubs
Being so sick, Candy was not up to being her usual bitchy self. Thus, it was the perfect time for Michael and Kendall to have their say and lay it all on the line. She wasn't strong enough to do much other than listen to the wisdom and logic of their words; which, finally seemed to penetrate her conscience. I also think it registered in her mind that Kendall's showing compassion for her plight was real and not a put on because of the baby. I'm hoping Candy has turned a corner in how she approaches life. Both for herself and for everyone else. Things are looking up for K and M. I can feel it. As always, an excellent Gary. -
A Sad Ending That Might Lead To A New Beginning
Reader1810 commented on K.C.'s blog entry in KC's Blog
That wasn't a rambling rant. It was a sincere and heartfelt telling of terrible loss and the joy of being found (even if was nerve wracking and scary). It's unfortunate you couldn't have reconnected with Mike before he passed. But what a great blessing in seeing your grandmother after all those years. -

Maybe that's why I stopped watching TV and starting reading more... The imagination certainly gets a workout reading GA -

Darrin is a bug I wish I could squish. It was good to see how easily Bryan and Wyatt got themselves back on track after Darrin's trickery. As for the meeting with Carol, I'm thinking she is up to something. Hope I'm wrong...

No worries. I've added you to my notification list, so I'll be there when it's ready.

I don't remember the group, but I do remember the car. My neighbour's son had a blue one just like the one in the picture. I'm not that into sports cars, but I did like that one - or maybe it was the driver I liked....

Always, a treat to take a peak into Officer Espinosa's day. Unlike a box of chocolates, you know what you're going to get...just the flavour is a mystery. LOL

Sadly, you make an excellent point Tim. That being said, it would be nice if this particular outcry became the catalyst that causes potential/previous offenders to realize that what they are doing is wrong; thereby, stopping the bad behaviour of some individuals. It may be a tiny speck in the grand scheme of things, but taking an arrogant SOB like Palmer down could possibly be a deterrent for other would be trophy hunters. I won't hold my breath though...just keep hoping

Well considering he's done it before, I'm thinking his claim of ignorance is complete and total BS. I may not do a happy dance (I won't be that cruel), but I will certainly not give this man an ounce of my sympathy now that his life and business are in tatters. Karma does not mess around...

Chapter 1 Letter to Caitlyn Jenner
Reader1810 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 Letter to Caitlyn Jenner
Oh Gary, that was beyond beautiful... A friend of mine who is in his 50s followed the same path as you did. He doesn't talk about it much, but your letter has helped me understand some of what he likely had to go through. Thank you for sharing the letter with us, it means a lot that you did. -
Countin' on a Miracle
Reader1810 commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Countin' on a Miracle
CJ, CJ, CJ!!! He was really showing his true age in this chapter. Or maybe it's his innocence? Never really thought of CJ as being innocent or naive. That being said, except for Captain/Colonel Dickhead (forgot his rank) and his mother's behaviour culminating with the exile from his home, has he ever encountered true evil intent in his life? I'm thinking he hasn't. Both Cesar and Brett handled themselves very well during the conversation with CJ. They pointed out how reckless his behaviour had been. Cesar listed the potential situations he could have found himself in with no way out, but he did it in a factual non-accusatory manner. They were calm and rational (though internally, they must have been in full panic mode for what could have happened to CJ) rather than shouting in anger which would likely only have served to put CJ on the defensive and tune them out. In other parts of D.C. Was happy to read that Cesar and Brett (was there any doubt?) were planning to alleviate any/all financial worries that Adriano might face in the future. Tom's getting a nice email from his ex-wife was a bit of a surprise. I had always assumed she was against him, but now the truth has been revealed - the iron fist of his father had her trapped. I see a family reunion coming soon....which is great because I always hoped that Tom's kids would one day (but sooner rather than later) re-connect with their dad. That their mother will be along for the ride? That just makes it all the better. Another excellent chapter Carlos. -
I found that story too. I found a couple other good ones, but couldn't find my way back here. They were older stories, but still good to share. Will try to find them again...I've bookmarked the link so I won't lose again...
