I was impressed that Kevin did so well during the first trial. I was also impressed by this answer: Novo's dream, or vision, of talking with his dead lover Becker seems more healing than the traumatic dream he has had in the past.

I hope that Marc will someday tear into Jonathan. I did see a little hope in Maggie and would really love to see her defend her son. Marc really needs that support to heal from all the damage caused by his parents' negligence. Learning a bit more about Finn from both Marc and Sawyer's stand points make him a more positive person to me. I hope Sawyer and Finn can finally resolve the problems and establish a healthier relationship as brothers. The dialogue flowed naturally in the chapter.

It was a fun day for all but Arnaud. The boys were sure proud of their catches. I want to thank @weinerdog for posting his trip to the Benaki Museum. I went there after seeing his post. The video about Nelly was interesting as well as her photos.

I wish Rusty could listen to himself during the unguarded moments when his thoughts revealed how different his sexual experience is with Matty. What they have is so really a deep felt love. I wonder what will happen the next time Rusty and Matty renegotiate their agreement. It seems that Rusty is totally obsessed with Matty's round mounds and rosebud. -
The Charlie Boone universe is filled with many adventures filled with magic and adventure. This latest story is just as unique and wonderful as the others. A haunted house is the latest challenge for Third Planet Inquiries, a company Charlie, Kippy, Rick and Adrian have set up to investigate paranormal activities. The job is full of surprises and good humor that you will enjoy reading. A stand alone novella, but I suggest you start from the beginning and watch the boys grow to be young men. A must read, as are all the stories in the Boone universe.

Another fun adventure in the Charlie Boone universe. I enjoyed each step taken as it revealed more about the history of squish users, and the message of hope for the future. I was surprise at first that it ended in The Dirty Whisker, but enjoyed the closure to the story by including Tasker. I look forward to Castor accompanying Charlie in new adventures. I do have to say that I am sorry for the island's population of genius loci. They seem to miss humans on the island very much, but it seems that they will be denied that for a while longer until humans evolve to become safe for them and their island.

Now maybe we can get some answers to the questions that were put off to "later" by Castor. I suspect Lewellen's "Welcome home." was for Castor's return to home. Robin made some very chilling statements about what he and others do to squish users that wish to hurt others. I am sure it made the rest of the group uncomfortable. I do agree that humans are not ready to face squish users. Amy continues to impress me with her intelligence and demeanor. Now for some answers.

I'm there if you need me @Backwoods Boy! I almost pushed the Happy emoji over your comment on #121. I do love the Charlie Boone stories that Geron is famous for writing. However, you can find Thrift Shop Nation along with @Geron Kees's many other great novels, novellas, and short stories here on GA. I have read all of them, and they come in many different genres. What they all have in common is the great entertainment that comes with reading well written, humorous adventures.

Interesting first day. Kevin is such an asshole and has failed at least twice. I doubt he passes the listening test. I do hope he can learn quickly before he fails completely. Novo is quietly taking the lead by working with each of the brothers and trying to set a good example. I love Miss Tonya.

Novo's nightmare and his backstory told to Teo were very interesting. It does leave a lot of years unaccounted for from age 10 to when he enlists in the service. The warnings about Hell Week promise a lot of excitement. I wonder when Novo will be asked to help retrieve the books his stepfather left him.

I like the way you have introduced the characters. Novo and Track are interesting contrasts. I also am hooked on the unique nature of the paranormals. Great start!

I love prompt #121 and would love a new story from this prompt. I would suggest that anyone that wants to write to the prompt reads @Geron Kees's Thrift Shop Nation first. As for prompt #122, I am not a writer, but have spent a lot of time in middle school and high school cafeterias as a teacher for many decades. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks Bucket! I hope I live another few decades to do this. Last night I got two birthday cakes. One cake from the cook at the seafood restaurant we went to for dinner. Moe, the cook, is a good friend and great lady. I took one piece there and shared the rest with the restaurant's staff. The second was a cake at Orion Bar, the local rainbow bar I frequent. Hope all is well your way.

Thanks Drew! Would you believe I got 8 bottles of whiskey, 1 bottle of fruit wine, 1 bottle of Sailor Jerry spiced rum, and 1 bottle of herbal liquor for presents. I will have to have a few parties to get finish off all the presents. That doesn't include presents from Aod and his family.
