  1. Good Evening Albert! How are you and Steve today? Hope your weekend was great.
  2. Hey Dugh! Love the kilting stories. Hope you have a restful sleep in spite of the temptation to further activities when you get to bed. At least limit that activity to one for each of the eye candies you created. I do love the tales you so wonderfully told.
  3. Try any of the Goosebump series by R L Stine, or Southpark. Southpark for holds the Guinness World Record for 'Most Swearing In Animated Series'. Also, Kenny got killed in every show.
  4. Hey Page! You inspired me to add more to the list for Clo. Roald Dahl to start. Witches, BFG, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Mathilda were good books made into Movies. Katherine Paterson wrote some great stories also. The Great Gilly Hopkins, Bridge to Terabithia, and Jacob I Have Loved are all books that fit the description.
  5. Payback for all the whining we have to endure!
  6. I loved hiking in the mountains and forests when younger. It always impressed me when I came into an alpine meadow with millions of brightly colored spring wildflowers. The weather here is warm but still wet. October marks the end of the rainy season, so I hope for a lot of sunlight to replace the clouds and lightning soon. September is a great time to get started on the holiday.
  7. David Copperfield and Oliver Twist are classic examples by Charles Dickens set in Victorian England. Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain and most of the young characters in the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (fantasy) also fit. These are adult literature. There are some great examples in children's literature also. Let me know if this helps or if you need some from children's lit. Is the age level of the reader important to your class?
  8. Hi Clo! Sounds like you had a great weekend. I love going to the beach with friends. Aod and I spent time with friends and are planning a camping trip soon with them. We are planning a lunch on Tuesday to firm up the plan. Other than that it was a slow weekend. Although warm, there were heavy rains and lightning storms all weekend. That meant some good light shows while protected inside the comfort of home. 😁

    That Guy

OF for Matty won't do Matty any good. I also think that it might remind Rusty of what happened to his parents when Roy did that. Look what happened when Maddox thought that happened with Jonathan and Rusty. Actually happening with Matty would be a very bad thing for Rusty and Matty. Rusty needs to be brought back from the brink now, not pushed over the brink.
  10. Hi Spike! Hope you and Drew are enjoying your BL Whine Fest! Have fun and don't get too punch-drunk from all the things you keep throwing at each other.🤪
  11. Howdy Bucket! Hope you have a chance to take that walk about you missed. Glad the weather is improving!
  12. Hey Clo! Hope you are also having a great day!
  13. Hi Man! How are things going for you today?
  14. Hey Drew! I see that you and Spike are still carrying on your feud over BL boys. Hope you two are having fun. I know I am with the real thing. 😋
  15. Hi Albert! Hope you are having a great day!
  16. Hi All!

    That Guy

Rusty is a wreck and feels guilty as if he brought on the accident his mom caused. Roy fessed up that he was a monumental coward. August, Maddox, Jonathan, Dex and Kane all try to set Rusty right. Matty had the right message, but the wrong timing. What a mess. We can only hope that Rusty takes the time to think about what everyone said, including his father. Roy, I can understand somewhat. Living with a person whose mind is sick is extremely difficult after so many years. I do fault him for leaving Rusty to take care of his mom. Roy's excuse was so lame. He left a child to do a man's job, Roy's job. I hope that Rusty thinks about what his father said and realizes that Roy basically threw his son into a mess that Roy couldn't handle himself. Roy made it worse by not even giving Rusty the support Rusty needed to do the job. Matty has finally told Rusty that he loves Rusty. I think that Rusty understands that Matty has told the truth. What Rusty needs know is to realize that Matty does love the real Rusty, not the King of Sunnyhill. Hopefully, Rusty will realize August was right when she said what happened with his parents had nothing to do with Rusty. He isn't responsible for what either parent has done. Great chapter, Laura!
  18. A very beautiful and sensuous chapter. How long it will take Otis to realize that Hudson wants to be his lover as well as teacher?

    Chapter 5

The guys are really bonding as a group. Scott quickly understood the game they were playing, but it was tense for a moment. The parents are the best. Greg's father does know what's happening, but accepts it is what Greg wants and is willing to put his own concerns aside.

    Chapter 19

I can completely understand why Seth's dad would leave a person as twisted as Seth's mother. It is a gross misstatement when she claimed to take care of Seth. Seth has taken care of his mother's mistakes as well as take care of Stacy at her mother's corrupt demands. All three boys are facing trouble. It is amazing to me that they can still trust adults like Aunt Marie, Uncle Steve and Mr. Ellis.
  21. Sorry Spike, but I don't think anyone here has a PG mindset. We're all at least R or X-rated. I think we draw the line somewhere before the horse rides the cowboy. At least I hope so! 🙄
  22. In Gary's stories they take turns on the top!
  23. I love the western genre very much, and you are one of the very best, Gary! Your answers were interesting and informative. @astone2292' questions were very focused and insightful. Boundaries is a great short story, and I hope it will be expanded someday.

    Chapter 13

I'm sure you will hear no complaints! I really enjoyed your description of Connor's change. What surprised me most was the size of both Connor's and Shamus' wolves. Danny's hope that he will be 'dat pwetty' was precious. Also, the picture you created in my mind of the twins, Emmett and Danny in bed cuddled by their wolf cousins was special. Shamus' operations sound huge the way you described them. I wonder how many square miles are in all the ranches in total. Raised out west, I know that many of the largest ranches can be more than a hundred thousand acres each. It will be nice for Connor's parents to join the family. I was impressed that Shamus is thinking ahead by getting Connor known in town as he took care of business there.
  25. Sounds like all is well in your world. Great to hear the news about the bonus. Morgan's employer sounds like a fair person who appreciates good work. Max once again shows his good taste. I love quiche Lorraine also. Just to clarify is Uncle Mickey an honorary family member or a bio family uncle?
