Well expressed Tim. It is easy to let the past hold us in place. We've all been there at some point, but the first tentative steps into the present are so freeing... So here's to stepping forward.

At Last! Or is it Ding Dong.. MD is no more. Eddie is indeed the hero here, as is Sarah, who has it all on video. I feel for Bryan, who finally realizes how many clues he missed, the scope of his mother's evil, and how far back it reached. Of course he passed out, who could even begin to fathom all of that. Now to deal with the aftermath. The emotional repercussions for Wyatt, Bryan and Eddie are going to be huge.

Loved the surprise chapter, and thanks for the Chicago tour! Cesar and Brett... They did have a some down time after all, but I'll go with my version of what I think they were doing. Alone. All weekend!!! Hehe. Cute how they were missing CJ. Ramrod? I will leave that alone and stick with Miami.... Getting to know the Chicago Abellos was pretty cool. Bradley and Paddy are fitting right in, and the Uncles are eating them up. Also, Trip! Yay.. So glad to see him back. The only hiccup was Dragon and King. Could the weekend have been a wake up for them. Not fair that King totally blames Dragon though, even though Dragon broke his promise. I hope they work this out... This was such a lovely chapter. It's nice catching up. I like seeing Avery's progress, facing his fears and taking back control a little bit at a time. Matt is superb! Thank you CM, for keeping us in touch with these shorts!

I'm really glad that Reece started the conversation and Dave felt encouraged to open up. Keeping that hurt in and just waiting for the moment Reece might hurt him the same way, would never have ended well. They are well suited for each other so I hope they work it all out.. Nice chapter!

Painful and sad how Morgan mourned Danny. I am happy to see him trying to step back into life and and attempt to start living again. It looks like interesting things await. Look forward to what's to come.

This is a really good start Adi. Even when a relationship isn't strained, and you say things and leave in a fit of anger, you don't think you'll not have the chance to make it right. Now Morgan is left with this huge hole of regret and loss..

As I'm getting to the end of David's POV, all I'm thinking is CG is going to go apeshit on David again! David doesn't help himself though, I just want to shake that boy! Twoey's got boys on the brain. It's all new, so far harmless, and he's gone all in. If he has to ask the question though, maybe it's a sign to slow it down, or ask himself what his mother would say....or not. I think the fact that Danny is sort of in love with David plays into his reaction. I think more so, he is sympathetic because he relates to it. His own father imposes his will on Danny, and he's feeling trapped. Watching the guys do the same to David compounds those feelings. He probably expected Twoey of all people to get that, and take his side and when he didn't, maybe felt Twoey didn't get him. Now he's acting cold.. I could be so wrong about the guys, but this would go down so differently if it were a bunch of girls....just sayin'.

Sometimes the heart gets it wrong and we're lucky when our head does. Every line in this poem, spoke convincingly of the longing, uncertainty and temptation. You sir, are mighty talented. Thanks for sharing Tim.

What! Poor Nate. How heartbreaking to have to say I'm gay and my dad hates me! After I got over that surprise, my first thought was, Why wasn't Michael's sister there with the other kids. I mean this is Michael's family right? Colleen is their mom! The sister could not possibly allow her son to be kicked out of his home? Oh now I can't wait to know what was going on there. And wait, does he get to stay with Colleen or do Michael and Kendall take him? The rest of the chapter was great. I love the afterglow. Catching up with Chet and Arron, fun as always and the payback continues. It's good to see the guys relax and settle in after all that business with Candy. Now they get to work their magic with Nate. Great chapter Gary, but I hope you're already writing the next....

We are watching CJ grow up, and that territory comes with so many choices. I trust CJ to make choices he can live with. If he runs into problems, his parents are solid. But he has to make those choices, good and bad on his own. The boy is randy and high and tempted, not a good combo, but I'm sure he will manage to put an end to anything he doesn't want. That was a surprising meeting with Chip and Christina. I hope Matt agrees to keep Chipper. Doesn't it say a lot though, that even their mother agrees Doc would be a better choice than their own father. Love how JP, Tom and the kids are getting on. I can't wait for the young set to finally all be together. It's going to be riotous. I know you bulding CJ's Crew! Well done chapter!

Interesting day indeed. I liked this prompt. Almost every story of yours that I've read leaves me wanting more. So naturally, I agree with Valkyrie I want the date story too.!

Eddie is so going to be the hero! Busting out of there with Wyatt in his arms, delivering him to Bryan and then making meat out of MD for lying to him, in turn making him hurt Bryan. At least that's how it goes in my head! There is a special place for MD hope she gets there fast and dead. The pacing of this chapter kept me on my toes. Awesome!

Oh, Wyatt! For a moment I had to remind myself to breathe too. That was painful. Short, but very impacting. Now, to the next.....

Seasons change, and with it the passage of time. Always will, but your poem paints a pretty picture and inspires thoughts about how we too, change in that never ending rotation. How we change is another matter altogether.. Beauty in your words as always Gary.

Tommy's mother is so upset. You know, David's wound tight as it is. I'm not condoning his actions but all of his inaction and uncertainty in s just coiled up inside. He doesn't yet realise why he's reacting the way he is. Twoey's mum could help him figure it out. Understandably, this freaked Twoey out. I hope he gets the chance before too long to redeem himself. Nothing against Nels or Gary, but these guys maturity levels are going to fall short when it comes to reading this situation. They're not thinking any deeper than girls, getting some from said girls and their popularity. It's not important for them to dig any deeper than that. I don't think. Danny tried to reel them in, Twoey dropped the ball. In any case it's about to hit the fan, and I can't wait....

My first thought, thank God Sarah is there. Rightly so as she was much more forthcoming about MD than Bryan. That had to have been hard for Bryan, putting it together about his mother then adding up what Eddie was saying. Hurry! Hurry! Can't wait for the dynamite to go BOOM!

What do the guys know about Danny being abused for sure? They know his Dad is a jerk, they've seen the bruises. Danny hides his troubles well, and at that age it'd have to be glaringly obvious to raise more than a passing suspicion. With Twoey allowed inside, I hope Danny opens up more. David leveled that pastor with the same cool wit and confidence he does his teacher. Yet he can't break that barrier with Kathy. Ha! I noticed that David didn't register in Twoey's musings this chapter. Mike did though. Does that mean we're closer to meeting him? And we also meet Donny? Can't wait for his story..

I think it was an act of love that Jeff sent you away. He could not change but he saw that you could, and it wasn't too late for you. We mourn Jeff, but we thank him too.

Ahh Tim... I felt like Gary did. That you were watching this happen, separating yourself from the act. I find myself wanting to apologize for that time in your life and to say I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Don't know if that's quite right, but there it is...
