Perfect. The whole poem just so deeply meaningful I can't do justice with a review. That last line...Brilliant. You and Mike, so lucky to have that kind of love!

Sneaky Gary! Now we know! This was an awesome surprise. Congratulations Lit.. I loved the the easy introduction of Merrick and Jenson, and their connection. Merrick is a delightful kid, can't wait to see how he is grown up. Curious as to what happened to separate them for so long, and what's going on with Jenson now? Hehe, you get to know what it feels like to feed the hungry birds and not just be one. More please.. Great job Lit, really good start!

I kind of thought it was Brett who was going to pitch a fit, but It seemed Cesar just didn't get there first. They are parents, so that was a pretty real instinctive reaction. So is CJ's anger though. When cooler heads prevail, after they find out about the pot smoking, things will be okay I'm sure. Brett and Cesar will have a serious talk with CJ making sure that boy does not veer too far off course. CJ of course will remind them they were young once too, and he has been, all things considered a good kid. It was good to catch up with the gang, it would have been good if Doc could have spent another night in Sean New York, I mean... I wonder if Dragon is ready to give it all up for King.. Thanks Carlos...

Oh CG, I'm really intrigued by this new story. It's an exciting beginning and I already want to know so much more. I can be patient though..

This was like a breath of fresh air. It was funny and sad, and just plain amazing to see things coming together. Let's get Wyatt out of there like he said.. Eddie for one will be thrilled, and the man wants to be married! Wonderful CM...

Immediately, the conversation between Collen and Megan struck a chord. Emotional, and real. I could easily have had that conversation with my own mother. Then the one two punch. Mark's reaction to Nate telling him how he felt, and how close he came to taking those pills. As much as our kids hate to disappoint us, when we fail them it's doubly worse. You showed Nate being brave in his newfound acceptance, standing up to his dad and laying it bare. Mark's reaction was raw and emotional. I really felt for him, but he deserved it. To have his son tell him how he saw himself in his father's eyes, to hear he didn't feel safe. It was a revelation for Mark and probably a freeing one for Nate. There's hope for Mark, he's remorseful, is going to seek help and is willing to meet his son halfway, by letting stay where he is for the time being. Such a great chapter Gary. You handled that situation extremely well..

Week Three Thursday September 18, 2014: Prospects
Defiance19 commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Three Thursday September 18, 2014: Prospects
I feel for David. Really, I do. He must feel like like the walls are closing in. Everything is so out of his control, he might implode. His little outbursts seem to becoming more frequent. Maybe he'll have cause to cross paths with Tommy's mother, and she'll help him sort it out. This is behavior of Twoey's is worrisome because as noted, it's so not like him. I'm trying to understand beyond the he's 15 and its all about the sex. I think it may stem from being rejected by his best friend and Dad. Here he finds not one but 3 accepting people. Apart from the hormones, he might be feeling this is something he has to do. Where David is using Kathy to not face the part of himself that may like guys, Twoey might be using sex with anyone, to feel like that part of him is accepted. And I'm not saying they're doing it consciously, and I may also be off the mark. Twoey might just be that guy, but I doubt it. Always a pleasure to read SkinnyD, I look forward to more.. -
When James and Faris grow up, they are going to turn out to be like Freddie and Stuart from Viscous. This scenario is made funnier because it could actually happen. Those two are in their own world, but they're also easy to relate to. Their little nitpicking had them ending up exactly where they should have from the start, with a little help from the dog. I want more of these guys Tim. Well done!

Ditto for me as well. There is still so much to work through. Thank heavens for Sarah, who is able to think logically, and keep Bryan level. She is a beautiful soul. Bryan was not so out of touch as he did think to set up dinner between Sarah and Officer Woods. That should go well. Love the public support for Wyatt. The moment Bryan realises that Wyatt eyes were open, his relief was palpable and so was his grief ridden apologies. Sad, but now at least they can begin to work past it. I have a feeling though that every time Wyatt so much as sneezes, Bryan will feel badly. An amazing chapter CM. Thank you.

Really nice chapter.. A mishap for Reece turned into a wonderful opportunity for them both. And it's love! It's a short while they've been together, but sometimes when it's feels right, it just is.. Now they just have to put in the work to make this relationship go the distance. I have faith though..

Tim, If you didn't say it was about a dog, I never would have known. I thought of a person, literally shunned and beat down by life, who found comfort at the hand of someone who showed him kindness when he most needed it. So, it works as a great metaphor! And people who are cruel to animals...low life forms..

Ohh, there's a mystery unfolding... Hope we don't wait too long to find out!

Aw, I liked this a lot. So funny and most certainly true to life. These sort of things almost always happens, at inopportune moments. I'm hoping dinner went much, much better. Nice prompt..

Chapter 1 Michael and Me
Defiance19 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Chapter 1 Michael and Me
Tim, thank you for writing this. I was moved to tears, it was so beautiful to read. You said it yourself, Michael saw you, through all the grit, and he wanted you anyway. He saw your worth, even when you didn't. Hold on tight, you are blessed to have each other. We are just having the pleasure of getting to know the amazing and talented person he's known was there all along, and it's been great! The vows were so lovely. I wish you both many more years of happiness and love. -
MD is simply not allowed to win, so I'm going to believe there's a HEA for all. Bryan is bearing the burden of what she did to him, Eddie and Wyatt. That's a lot to bear and he will need Wyatt, as much as Wyatt will need him. So Wyatt has to get better, Eddie will probably be better off living with Bryan, and the three need a fighting chance to put the shattered pieces of their lives back together. Officer Woods did good, and he's a great dad to boot. He needs a date with an equally smart and fearless lady. Yes, Sarah. She deserves something great for being more than a best friend to Bryan, and now a friend to Eddie. Then they can all be the family they deserve to have.. A sad, yet wonderful chapter CM.

Loved it. Simply put, picture clearly established in my mind.. Thank you for that! ;-)

Week Three Wednesday September 17, 2014: Milestone
Defiance19 commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Three Wednesday September 17, 2014: Milestone
If you're lucky you realise that you're not ready before you do the deed and you're able to put on the brakes. Most times it happens like with Twoey, after the fact and probably not with the right guy. It was just more sex for Erik, and Twoey now knows he is not that guy. At least he has the right attitude. You can't go back. Hopefully he makes better choices. David, David. I do love him.. I think he both wants and doesn't want this thing with Katie. However conscious his act of prolonging the inevitable breakup, at least he won't have to face head on his feelings for Twoey and what it means. I mean it did shake him up from the start, and otherwise he is such a smart guy. So what's up next for these guys, Skinny D? I'm feeling anxious. -
Chapter 42 You Can't Turn a Heart into a Diamond
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 42 You Can't Turn a Heart into a Diamond
Okay, so I understand Megan's reasoning better. You never want a family to break up, but this is definitely a deal breaker. Especially if Mark cannot come to terms with his son being gay. And if he could, it would take a whole lot more than I'm sorry, to make me forget that my child came thisclose to attempting suicide because of his father's asinine bigoted behavior. I don't know I could easily forgive that. Meagan though, has a place she can call home, where her son and her family would not feel threatened. Man do I love Kendall. He just has his finger on the pulse and knows instinctively how to deal with Nate. Poor Nate though. He had his first kiss, got caught, and then got by his dad and Josh. That is a whirlwind, but he is in good hands, with excellent role models and will see what love in all its forms look like. There's hope for him yet. Thanks for a great chapter Gary... -
This was fantastic, and not just the sex which was amazing, but I like how we are slowly coming to know these guys. There's a layer of vulnerability which lends romance to their budding relationship. It's going to be exciting to see where you take them. You can be quick and dirty every chance you get!

By now, when Ian starts to panic, I'm thinking it's probably going to be okay in the end. Yet, I feel wound up along with him, (that's a good thing) until Miles says something, or in this case shows up and proves that it really is so. That aside, Ian's anxiety this time, was totally justified. These are such a pleasure to read SkinnyD...

Chapter 7 Back in my own Bed
Defiance19 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 7 Back in my own Bed
I think Tom is showing Robbie how much he loves him in the only way he knows Robbie will appreciate. If he really is playing it straight, then he has the perfect and willing ally to test the waters. If he is straight, then you've got to give it up to him for being comfortable enough to try this. They both obviously have different expectations right now, but an ocean divide should sort those feelings out. Also, Tom is a Gooner. He can't be that bad! -
Chapter 8 - Lost In The Confusion
Defiance19 commented on Cynus's story chapter in Chapter 8 - Lost In The Confusion
Oh my goodness. It was good with Chris, and then Jason got the letter.. I really feel for Gary. I appreciate that he wants to be a good missionary, but I wonder if he can successfully manage his feelings. Luke is being very noble, giving himself up for Gary. Those two are going to have a time of it! I don't like that Jason took that letter, I don't want to think what he might do...
