Thank you for this really nice chapter Carlos, and not just because you captured the unique NYC vibe so effortlessly. Seriously, it felt like I was along for the ride while they did the touristy stuff. The group was so entertaining in their interaction. It just made it clear how they just fit. The kids acting like kids, but they too just clicked. Even Chipper just melted right in. Glad he's joining the gang in DC. It was funny how Tom's kids sent that text to CJ instead of their father. Bradley is certainly acting the big brother, chastising Patrick, but letting him know he'll have his back when they get back. I feel for Patrick having to go through that hazing, he tried to handle himself, but I suspect there is much more to the story, why he's taking everything so hard. I may have developed a soft spot for him.. It was good to see him close to Tom afterward. I would have liked to see him try to talk to Patrick, but in this case it probably was better that the boys talked to him about it. Just like their adult counterparts, they're stepping in and stepping up to take care of each other.. Loved: Sir/Captain/Biodad. Poor Patrick's reaction to Sean's 'work'. Ceasar's realisation that CJ probably won't be an accountant. Well Done!

I think I understand Dave feeling the way he does, but I don't agree it's the same thing at all with Reece. That said, if it helps him to hear Reece own him to his parents, and they back off of Reece then I'm all for it. Maybe Reece does need to shut his mother down and set her straight. Loved them at the store..

The memory felt alive to me, if that makes any sense at all. It's the little things that always bring us such joy in remembering. I'm so happy you were able to tap into that part of you and capture this moment well enough to write about it. I just know somewhere your mom is smiling too. If this is what being constricted does, you should try it more often. They were both very well done.

Even I was lured in by the description of the mansion. It was creepy but I was curious enough. That money was definitely a test, and Ryan unfortunately didn't see that. Now who's in store for him may be worse than what might have been. Greg did warn him, I want to know what Greg knows.

Levi and George give me the warm fuzzies. The way the bond was forged was so heartwarming and trusting. Especially given how terrible a hand fate dealt them. George still is kind and gentle, and for Levi, it allows him to believe in some humanity again. Not hard to see how their feelings develop from there... More please, I'm so enjoying this.

Somehow I don't think that God would mind anything Stefan did in that church today. Naked or not. Hopefully the people won't either. More food and rest, if he has to be on the move again, at least he'll be in better shape. Also, those roads wherever he is seem to be less populated so hopefully he will stay off the grid and manage to keep going. Knowing that somewhere the lifeguard is waiting, and their lives will intersect at some point is my hope that things will look up for Stefan. Well done Parker...

Obviously no two POVs are the same, but I am always fascinated at how the boys view the same event, and it's totally geared to what is happening to them in the moment. Typical teenage ego I guess. I'm surprised that David didn't dwell on the butt pat. I guess the visit with the psych is occupying his mind. Burch is hateful. I was amused that David was blaming God frequently but now that you mentioned it to CG, I'll pay closer attention. Kathy-gate is going to lead to dance-gate now that the guys are pressuring Twoey to go to the dance. Didn't miss his sort of jealous moment when Matty manhandled Twoey. Such a good chapter and there is so much to sort out yet, that I'm left wanting more.. Hurry.

The hell you say! i cant believe Roger let all this time go, without saying anything to Sim. Silly man, but I guess it's all in the timing. Sim finally got to have Daniel, even though they started off behind their partners backs. But all is forgiven, and there's fun to be had. I hope they keep open and honest communication, so everyone stays on the same page. I admire people who could do the poly relationships, I always think someone's needs are not going to be fully met. I hope that's not the case for these four, they seem to work well together. No stringing up for you... Thanks for this story Tim, very well done.

The Amityville Horror House. Amityville, Long Island NY Ronald DeFeo slaughtered his family in their sleep, claiming the voices in his head told him to do it. Another family, the Lutzes bought the house and moved in with their kids. Then the weird stuff started. The dad woke up the same time of the murders, every night. There were voices telling them to get out. The kids started sleeping the in the same positions that the murdered DeFeo children were found. They saw demon apparitions, a pig with red eyes, smelled perfume and feces. Doors open and slammed shut, things would be moved around, and they discovered marks and welts on their bodies that could not be explained. They finally moved when they could not take it any more. I think they lasted 2 months. There's books and movies dedicated to this horror. People still claim to see eyes in the windows at night.. If you drive by in the day or at night, it's the creepiest feeling. Whether that's from knowing what happened, it's weird!

The fates of kindness smiled on Stefan today. He had some food to eat. I'm glad that for a little while he got to pretend he had a family. He was smiled at and hugged. It all probably went a long way in boosting his spirit. I want it to last a little for him... Nice chapter Parker..

Very nice Tim... We all need to take the time to be thankful for what we have, and to appreciate the blessings. Showing kindness to someone is one way to pay forward that gratitude.

Powerful poem Gary, and beautifully written. An all too real truth which sadly continues even today. I think we forget or never give thought to who and what was sacrificed, for the privilege of gawking at these elaborate and showy structures. Our Cathedral built in 1885, is an amazing gothic building with an impressive spire. The inside boasts vaulted ceilings and is gilded in gold. It's beautiful and historic, and St. George's Cross hangs proudly outside. Two years ago the Dean went nuts. For months on end, every sermon felt like he was shaming the parishioners to tithe more. We should take pride in the building that housed us. It's expense and up keep was our duty. And on and on. Until someone stood up and asked during his rant, 'what about your dedication to preserving our souls?' Crickets. He retired 3 months later. Yet, the Gold is painted on and shiny every year, so who's being left out for the inside of the church to shine.

Oh, Noel.. What a lot for him to take in. I can't imagine what's going through his mind. Well maybe I could because I probably would be just as confused or freaked out. He's in such a tough position, and the choice kind of really bites. If he does nothing, the king dies, somewhere nana is disappointed.. Difficult. Very interesting species, the Serai. This is very different and I'm very intrigued by the souls inhabiting someone. I want to know so much more.

Everyone needs a Shawn. I understand that Ian is wary and watchful, and he probably can't help it. He knows Shawn is right though, so I hope he can take the advice and keep Markey out of his relationship. We understand Ian just a little bit more this round. I maybe just a bit sympathetic too...

What?!! I should have stuck with my first impression of Ryan. This way I wouldn't be this upset right now. That was whiplash! Well played Tim, I did not see that coming. I don't want to see Ryan coming back, he can't be trusted now. I was thinking because Sim was still reeling, maybe a shower and bed would have been just as good. Then, I realised they lived together, so I trusted that Jack and Roger knew that they were what Sim needed in that moment. However, Sim really loves Ryan, Sim also loves his friends and they him. How on earth are you going to reconcile this and make me everyone happy. In one more chapter no less..

Great continuation Lit! Grown up Merrick seems to be just as charming. Loved the interplay with his mother. The world you are creating is both fascinating and believable, as it has been described. Also most interesting, is the way the vampires came to be. Curious to find out more of that. Merrick and Jenson are separate, but still their connection is felt. Can't wait for them to reunite. 'B-loved' cute... Can't wait to read more either! Loving it...

Nice.. Great advice. I wish more players would heed that and draft later. Some of them can benefit from being a bit more mature also, not that it always helps.. Enjoyed this one...

Wow. Amazing chapter Cynus. Talk about crisis of conscience. Never have we seen these boys lives intercept to where they start making decisions based on how it affects each other. Like DrP says, you become extended family. Every action you take ultimately affects the rest. Nice to see they have come to understand that. Now I feel, whatever Jason decides to do it won't be out of malice, but out of his belief in doing the right thing he can live with.

oh yeah..dark and angry. Toxic people. We'd do well to be rid of them forever, but they are insidious. Glad you got that out though.. I don't like Angry Gary, even though he writes great poetry..

Great poems Tim. Especially loved Joy.. The trio moved me through time, on a journey threaded with hope. At the end, trusting what is there, finding, it was okay to let go. Thanks for sharing, I like seeing this side of you...

Stefan is free, but not really is he? Even with his father dead. He's running from a whole other set of problems. Maybe he will meet someone he can, or have no choice but to trust, because it's going to get harder to hide. Not to mention, he may need serious medical attention. I worry about what's next for Stefan. I am so involved in this story, which is in great part due to your telling of it..

Glad to see Twoey taking a deeper look at what he's doing. So, going forward if he continues to play musical beds, we know he's doing so with a somewhat clear head.. But actions have consequences, and I hope they won't be too severe.. He truly thinks nothing will become of him and David! Which means David needs to catch up already.. Seriously, David seems to be caught in quick sand.. It sucks to see how the things that are happening for/to you, are outside of your control, and you are powerless to stop it. At least he feels powerless and it's manifesting in his anger. Meanwhile, I think if he just breathes and apply the smart logic he has, he can get his way out of this. He needs to speak up, especially to his friends. Poor kid. Danny. Does all this talk about not being able to afford him, suggest that Danny has sex for pay. The black truck he rode away in comes to mind. I hope not, but what's he involved in? Another great chapter!
