  1. A moment to celebrate, to acknowledge, to mourn what could have been. Then the harsh reality of getting back to 'business'. Heartbreaking...
  2. Robbie... It was good to see him laughing and acting like a kid. I'm looking forward to much more of that once school starts. A whole new set of friends, and encounters. Exciting. We see that Tom is as affected by the move as Robbie is, but Tom is right. Waiting six months is pointless especially as Robbie is not going to be moving back. As Tom seems to be leaning a bit toward 'I'm not really gay', I hope at least the friendship goes the distance.
  3. Aww shucks... Kendall. I agree with everyone. These are vows! I'm going to borrow a little from my 3 yr old niece and tell you, I love these poems "all the way in my heart."
  4. As I was reading this I was thinking, Vows. I'm happy it's the consensus. This is why poetry is a beautiful form. These words wrap you in such emotion and the mood sets the scene, we can just about see. There's no doubt how deeply Michael loves. Loved this Gary!

    Lucky Town

You paint such a vivid picture of that dinner, I can almost see how handsome the distinguished gentlemen looked. And CJ and Ms. Lopez, funny stuff but big benefit for CJ. Well look at everyone getting out and hanging loose. Almost everyone. Where's Brett and Ceasar? Tom meeting the kids, I was nervous right along with him. That was very moving and not easy on my heartstrings. The cousins trying to get CJ. It will be interesting to see how he reacts. I was always trying to be like my older cousins, sometimes that got me in trouble, but mostly it was good fun. It was great to see them catch up. (Shout out to Foggy Bottom train station) You know, it's kind of neat that you don't shy away from presenting Dragon and King as guys unapologetic for who they are. And Sean... I hope to hear much more from him. If it doesn't work out with him and Doc, send me his addy and I'll check up on him. Often. You know, as friends.... Loved the chapter!
  6. Doubtful...
  7. In the Flesh was great. Stateside we won't be getting another season. For for me its not that many but.. S2 starts next month. I want Boardwalk Empire!
  8. It's hard to actually 'like' these, but I did, because you were courageous enough to bare yourself to us. It's heartbreaking but so compelling....

    Crisis

Sometimes, our imaginings really are our worst enemy. From your response to AC, I like the idea of the little scenes. Looking forward to more.. Good job.

    Chapter 1

So glad I read this. Absolutely awesome from Worf's perspective. Luke is lucky to have such a knowing best friend! Great story!

    Chapter 15

Yes!!!! Now we're getting somewhere.. Now please don't let them alert MD first.. Or, wait if she's already got Eddie to transport Wyatt, maybe they catch her in the act! (Wishful thinking) Poor Bryan, might be finally able to put some pieces together!
  12. Wow - Michael. I hadn't considered that he would be holding such deep resentment toward Candy. Considering most of us readers feel the same way, I get it. Thankfully those feelings are balanced in Kendall, which makes it that much easier for him to hand the reins over to Kendall. It is after all THEIR baby. Loved Michael's reasoning over Kendals doubts. With a title like Jackpot, I dared to hope! That hope was rewarded nicely. M & K's first time was of course steamy, sensual and hot! They were emotionall ready, and with that level of trust, it couldn't be anything less than mind blowing. Their nervous excitement dissipated, and they just enjoyed the moment. Then it ends in the typical comedy duo fashion that is Michael and Kendall. Great chapter Gary! Soo, how soon do we get to round two?

    Chapter 5

I like that Reece and Dave let Josh find out the way he did. Less time for him to gloat. Hehe. The barbecue was a nice way to show that the cousins are truly, well together and in Reece's corner. And, here comes the rain? Josh dropped that little bomb, and it feels pretty serious. Can Reece hide the fact that Josh let on though.. I hope Dave finds the courage to confide in Reece, and it's something they can work through together. Well done chapter.
  14. Okay.. David! Really, you had the perfect opportunity to talk to Kathy, and you put it off yet again. You are, my dear boy, stringing her along and her brother and your sister are going to make you pay! I can't defend you here..sigh. Twoey and Danny would be a good match, except that I feel there's trouble coming Danny's way. Twoey gave him good advice in taking some control back of his life such as it is. But like CG mentioned, the car he pulled away in, suggests that something greater is amiss. Throw his Dad in the mix and it's not looking good. I love this blend of characters you've created. I think with every chapter you manage to capture the consciousness of our younger set amazingly well.
  15. I like Tom. He is so genuine in his affections, and clearly very open minded when it comes to being with Robbie. I'm glad that Tom is the one taking lead here. If it turns out that he's straight, then at least Robbie will know he wasn't the one to push. Either way, their safety is each other. It strikes me too, that although Robbie will be leaving in a couple of weeks, it doesn't feel like they're rushing to move things along. At least not yet. I like them teasing and talking over the possibilities. Then the relatives arrive and we're reminded why it is that Robbie has to leave. Really good chapter Dodger....
  16. Timely, that I read this now. Only a few days ago, my sister had a case of a 10 year old boy whose parents refuse to accept or try to understand that he wasn't their little girl. He's run away so many times, unfortunately his case is now with ACS, and he will probably be forced to stay with them or end up in the foster care system. It's terrible and heartbreaking. Jasmine is the hope, that even when it's tough and painful, one can survive. Thank you for writing this story.

Julian's nervousness was palpable. But it was what made the "move in with me" slideshow the most romantic and thoughtful gesture. Perfect in its quirkiness. I loved that Roman put it together and saved him from himself.

    Aletheia

Wait, what now... This was brilliant!!
  19. Oh David, you are smart. Just not...well, congrats on winning the race! I kind of hope Twoey and Danny don't move beyond that kiss just yet. The easy way they communicated, speaks to a broader relationship. I think they would benefit from being friends first. Yes, I know hormones, and the discovery of 'someone else like me' falls to friends with benefits, but I hope the greater benefit is indeed friendship. Loved this chapter SkinnyD...

    Chapter 14

Maybe if the box of Mac n Cheese fell on Bryan's head it would have clicked? It's all right there and he can't grasp it! I cringe every time MD touches him or offers him comfort. Meanwhile Wyatt... We need a rescue, please!

    Morton's Fork

Talk about blurred edges! I felt for Ben and Rush. Ben especially because I guess it did look to him, that Rush didn't choose him. That's a tough spot. Maybe Clay does have feelings for Rush, but I think it may be more of an idolized crush. After all, Rush to Clay, is the only person who is consistent and really invested in him. On the flip side, if they had let Clay go, I don't think Rush would have been able to stop worrying about Clay and his less than capable parents. There probably would have been some resentment and that's worse. It's a difficult balance, but I hope it's not the end for them just yet. Great Story.
  22. A very moving story. There was a show on TV this summer called Proof, which while not particularly good, the storylines were food for thought on this very concept. I like to believe it's like you showed so wonderfully here. When we get to wherever that place is, we will be embraced with that never ending, perfect love.
  23. Well, the good thing is that Luke realised the error in his approach to Gary. Now that they've come to an understanding of sorts, it will be interesting to see their friendship and attraction develop under watchful eyes. Are some of these supervisors really so strict? To not be willing to listen to an explanation or even acknowledge that an accident could very well happen while paired up, seems a bit much. A bit more fiber in his diet, and he may relax a little.
  24. Holy, Story Explosion! Definitely need more time in the day, but I know how I'll be spending the next couple of nights!!! They all look so good! Thank you. ALL of you!!

    Suicide Note

This is a really good, emotional start. I feel the intensity of Davy's pain, and desperation, then the distressing doubts that follow. It leaves me sad, as it's not an easy subject matter, but I am hopeful that whatever comes next will put him on a path of much less anguish, and of course, lead to a silver lining. You told this story very well, I hope you continue, as I'm looking forward to this journey.
