Excellent chapter! Ben coming into the suite with a gun, holding everyone hostage waiting for the mysterious mastermind of the entire sordid mess. Him striking Aria and Amara and threatening Jay is about to push Drew over the edge. Now that the leader is about to be revealed, how will this mess be resolved? I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️

Amazing chapter! Aria stood up for his friend against his powerful, conservative and seriously behind the times Grandmother, while putting Robert, Drew and Jeff in their place. Lady Jane is formidable but was a bit taken aback by her weaker grandson. Aria put her in her place and left no room for her to defy him. He’s made it clear that they don’t need her or her money and will not see her again unless and until she apologizes to Jay and agrees to treat them with respect and courtesy. To say that Drew is shocked and overwhelmed by the many nuances to his two multifaceted boys is a distinct understatement. The gradual changes and nuances of each of these characters is simply amazing and I am totally impressed with the depth of story and characters. Thank you! I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️

Outstanding chapter! Logan taking the initiative to tell Leon how he really feels was long overdue. Leon is suspicious of Logan’s motivations. The ultimatum by the Queen is adding additional pressure on Leon’s shoulders. The ultimatum will certainly make whoever is on the inside feel it necessary to speed up their plans to kill Leon before he can be named Crown Prince. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️ I’m sorry that you’re feeling under the weather, hopefully your husband’s chicken soup will cure you.

Excellent chapter! Worthington was able to come up with a plan to rescue the boys. His reluctance to put the boys through the torture and sexual abuse necessary to create the controls needed to protect them from the Demons shows how far he’s come from who he was when he arrived in Arizona. He has matured into a better, wiser and more caring person. I’m very sad to see the comments about the story ending. There’s so much more that could be written about this group of characters and the war they’re fighting! 😢❤️

Outstanding chapter! The children turning on their rescuers was unexpected, and the few survivors begging to be killed is very sad and very emotional for Worthington. He’s got to make a decision on what to do with these hostages/prisoners, can he just kill them? Can he formulate a plan to save and cure them with no danger to anyone else? Excellent chapter! Worthington is taking to his new job with a vengeance. He is building the new school, developing new programs to identify untrained mages in schools and creating new relationships with creatures who dislike the Demons nearly as much as the humans. He will become more powerful and will be able to negotiate with other adepts to hopefully create a better life for all magical beings and live successfully along side mundanes. The deal with the Ferdun could be quite helpful in the battles with the Demons. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️

Interesting chapter! The meeting with Mr. Cohen was nothing short of an ultimatum without time to consider the ramifications. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes with little to no information. The life that Yonatan has undertaken to protect Matan has got to be overwhelming. Matan isn’t being told what’s going on and the international connotations can’t be overlooked. This story has suddenly made a hard left turn into unknown territory. I’m curious where the story is going next! I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😳❤️

Excellent chapter! The ceremony for the order of the arrow was perfect and the board meeting was priceless. Mason was a force to be reckoned with. He single handedly stopped the plot by Toby and Mr. Higinbotham. The boys made a strong showing with the entire camp staff and made lifelong friends. Jimbo’s mother picking the boys up and taking them to the family farm was the beginning of an extremely uncomfortable and hostile period for both of the boys. Jimbo’s dad is a religious bigot who’s been brainwashed by the baptist church. The future is looking bleak at this moment. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😡❤️

Excellent chapter! The letters between Charlie and David speak to the feelings they each hold for the other. The dinner with Tran and David was sweet. I really love Tran and know that he wanted so much more from David than he could give. Tran and Parker could be a nice pairing. I know that you’re going to put us through the ringer for next few chapters, however, don’t break our spirit by keeping us from the elusive HEA. Amazing chapter! David becoming a nicer, kinder more relaxed and inspired person and performer. Charlie becoming a more relaxed and less uptight, he’s more confident and happier after the first meet and greet. The both saw and felt the electric shock that proves the love that they’ve both been keeping a secret for ever. The call to Charlie’s mother and inviting her and Noah to Long Island for Mothers Day was a nice move on David’s part. You had me reaching for the tissue box in this chapter. Excellent chapter! Thank you for bringing David back, the ending between he and Charlie was caused by an opportunity for David to train in Russia under a legendary pianist. They didn’t exactly agree on the outcome, but they were teenagers and destroyed communications by the Russians had them both leaping to conclusions about each other’s lack of contact. I’m certain that the road to happiness for them both is filled with roadblocks, detours and pitfalls. Usually the characters have to survive these trials to emerge on the other side of them with better understanding and an emotional bond going forward. I really like Eric he should prove to be interesting and entertaining. Charlie needs an ally for emotional support. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️

Outstanding chapter! Multiple attempts on Leon’s life inside the safety of his home, car, yacht and hotel. There’s clearly an inside agent or agents operating right under the security agency’s watch. I do believe that the staff should be placed on sabbatical to better secure Leon’s life. Gia is somehow involved in all of the political drama and threats. Dax is less of a suspect after this chapter, he genuinely cares about Leon and his safety. Logan has been given the opportunity to explain why he couldn’t or wouldn’t stay with Leon. His fears about palace life and his insecurities related to the differences in their stations in society. He ran. Now he’s been given the keys to the kingdom where Leon is concerned. Does he have the courage to admit why he left and let Leon know that he wasn’t rejecting him, can he discuss the future with the love of his life or not? Only time will tell! I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😢❤️

Outstanding chapter! Toby and Mr. Higinbotham most definitely have an agenda, the tryst with Mr. Fish is unusual. Jimbo and Mason along with the rest of the camp staff are aware that something is going on and are also aware that Toby and Ed are behind the drama. The troubles approaching as the last week of camp progresses are going to be difficult but Jimbo, Mason and staff will solve the problems and come out on top together. Excellent chapter! I’m nervous about the weekend at the aunt’s cabin, Trish is setting them up for Jace’s family to catch them together or to hear rumors about them being together. Brody’s parents concern for the safety of their son and Jace, to provide them with safety and security while they figure out their relationship. The garage apartment is brilliant. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️ I’m also very happy about the sequel to Between the Shadow and the Soul. The story was difficult to read due to the subject matter, however, it was a truly inspiring story of horror, hope and family working through the issues of an attack together to reach understanding and ultimately happiness, despite the past manipulation and trauma that occurred. I’m really looking forward to reading this new story! ❤️

Excellent chapter! I’m happy to see that Alex is beginning to mature and think of others before himself. Jeremy has been a terrific inspiration for Alex even without knowledge of it. The dinner conversation with his parents was very difficult for Alex but shows that he’s definitely making progress in his level of maturity and responsibility. The fact that he’s made the decision to complete his degree and taken responsibility for his mistakes, as well as speaking up for his sister and studying abroad was inspiring. The hostility between Natalie, Jeremy and Alex will take some time to repair, she probably still believes that she will get Jeremy back once Alex is out of the picture. Drew at last understands that the twins are capable and intuitive enough to take care of themselves completely. Jay has begun the path toward healing from all of the horrors of their past. Aria and Amara have made it clear that Jay is their brother and will not tolerate anyone causing him pain or suffering. Lady Jane should be prepared for a verbal assault from every member of the family members about how they expect her to treat their friends. I’m so very proud of the twins, Ceriann, Drew and even Jeff for how they’ve supported Jay. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter!😢

Excellent chapter! Leon being shot in the woods outside of his castle means that his uncle and cousins are looking for a way to eliminate the competition for the crown. The Royal security seems powerless to protect them. Logan has captured the group that killed Leon’s parents. The intervening years have not treated either of them well, and they won’t take a chance to meet and pick up the pieces of their relationship. They’re both head over heels for the other, but won’t make the first move. The Queen needs to have her oldest son imprisoned or have him eliminated as a threat to her choice. She’s in danger as much as Leon since upon her death the first born ascends to the throne regardless of whether the title of crown prince has been for bestowed. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️

Excellent chapter! The schism in the camp is beginning to form with the entitled adults appointing themselves into positions of power over everyone and dictating rules and regulations to be followed. Over time these rules will begin forming animosity and eventual rebellion and violence. Society only works when everyone is equal and does their share. Excellent chapter! The death of Leon’s parents at the hands of Isaak should be sufficient grounds for the Queen to remove him from the lines of succession. I’m certain that he’s got several levels of cover between himself and the assassin. The Queen clearly isn’t safe nor are any others eligible to take the crown. The assassination of the prince and princess means that someone on the inside is assisting with the plot. Who can Leon trust now that Logan has been reassigned? Is someone in the Royal Navy involved? Outstanding chapter! Jacob’s story has made me understand him better, everyone loses faith in themselves during difficult periods, he was so focused on being the perfect father with a special connection to Noah, that he forgot that he already had one. It’s ashamed that he couldn’t or wouldn’t talk to Charlie or the family about what was going on, he probably would have saved his marriage and relationship with Noah. Jacob telling Charlie to find David is the last step before heading to New York and Project Runway. I’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter! 😃❤️
