Such a sweet tour you lead us on! I can only imagine Billy's mind as he goes along with this treasure hunt. And what must Terry be thinking even as it occurs? How wonderfully you set it up.
Thank you so much for your encouragement. You know precisely what Beau feels about the stage and the cold. It is gratifying you were able to feel it, too.
You are indeed channeling Beau’s inner pessimist, beautifully. If I’d had chapters and chapters in which to describe him, there would be plenty of extra ways to explore Beaus’s aversion to the cold.
Thank you so very much. Lots of us can’t seem to look up to see stars or smiles; too busy to feel warmth instead of cold. I am very glad you liked this.
Thank you so much, jp. You have it right - Beau finally needed this event, and that one kiss, to alter the way he understood himself and George. Many thanks.
Beau was based on someone I knew, who had to move north for work, but absolutely hated the winter. It became irresistible to tease him, if only a little. The cold became the perfect foil for a warming relationship and a thawing heart. Thank you for picking up on that, and for your kind words.
Perhaps your smile was a bit different to George’s; but to see Beau smile at life again was the best part of writing this. Thanks so much for your kind words.
This story created a whole elven world in so few words. That was really well done. But watching the two elves fall for one another was as cute as the elves themselves. Thank you.
This is the best cracker ever! I have had a few good ones, plus one or two duds, but this is wonderful. How beautiful of you to bring these men together.
Robert. You can make your own assumptions, write his story in your head - but there’s an archetype needing just the few prompts that Beau gives us. Lucky George. Thanks so much for your encouragement. And enjoy the stars tonight.
