Your writing really makes Don, Louis, and the supporting cast seem so real. It is almost like spying. The conversations, attitudes, and dealing with each other are all so normal. Some of it is good, some bad, all of it human. I wanted to focus on your writing, but I do want to speculate. Could Miriam's child he adopted by the guys, or will they be the best uncles ever? Just wondering... 😊

If you like gay romance, this is one for you. This story takes place in one whirlwind of a day in the life of office worker Ezra Grayson. A chance meeting with hockey star Henrick Ford leads to an out of the ordinary day and romance. The characters are well written and engaging. I was rooting for them from page one. The dialogue is realistic. The descriptions add to the story without bogging it down. The lust and loving are pretty hot! There is an epilogue that wraps things up nicely, but leaves room for more. I have read this story twice, and I enjoyed it as much the second time as the first!

After chapter one I wasn't certain I wanted to continue reading this story. The brutality of the dad is not something I wanted to hear more about. However Joey has an interesting voice, and the comments I read were positive about your writing. So here I am finishing chapter two, and glad I decided to keep reading. The school crowd and the situation there were interesting and well written. I look forward to reading more. Thanks.

I would like to encourage everyone to read this story! It has an opposites attract theme, but what sets it apart are the writing and the main characters. The story is very readable, with interesting, realistic dialogue and good descritions. Davy is a great guy with many characteristics that make him a good boyfriend/lover, but the star of the show is the title character, Cal! As Cal narrates we learn his life has not been "middle class and comfortable." He meets Davy and they begin to connect; interesting since Davy is quite well off. As we watch their relationship grow, the best part is getting to hear Cal's thoughts about what is happening. Sam Wyler has given Cal the most interesting and enjoyable voice! "Cal" is definitely worth reading.

Your stories are diverse and well written, but like so many of your stories, this one tells me you are a romantic at heart. And I love the romance in this story! Clem is such a sweet man, and Ashlee is just what he needs. Especially after the abuse he received from Nathan.

Ashlee Charles has got to be one of the best characters in gay fiction. Actually, maybe in any fiction. I don't know if you totally made him up, if he is a blend of people, or based on one person, but he is a most intriguing character! I'd also felt your dialogue between Clem and Nathan was well written.

This is one of my favorite stories! Even after reading it four times or so, this chapter is hard to read. I am sorry things had to go this far for Clem to realise what kind of person Nathan really is. The good news is I know what is coming, and it makes me happy! Thanks for this wonderful story!

Nothing like dropping a small bomb to end a chapter. And will this baby be the "child who needs us" for Don and Louis? Although I do go to the gym pretty regularly, as a non-runner it will be interesting to me to see how Louis does with the marathon training. More good story! Thanks.

Loved the Christmas shopping in Paris! I enjoyed sharing this fantasy (for me) with Cal and Davey. I wonder what Cal is thinking about buying for Davey's gift. I will be sad to have this story come to an end.

I just finished the first two parts of the backstory, and I really enjoyed it! I chuckled at Cam's gay pass. I wasn't certain how to translate that based on Cam's behavior (gay, bi, or bi-curious - so many labels). I guess I will just wait to see how the story unfolds. I enjoy Cam telling the story and the fact that you let us "hear" Cam's thoughts. That style worked quite well for another story I enjoyed. Looking forward to more time with Cam and Ian. Thanks. -
It's always a bright spot in my day when I get to "visit" with Will and Liam! I always like the fact that even when things go wrong there is still a lot of love and support in this family, and the extended family.

As a retired teacher I would like to believe every school would handle a situation like Bailey's this way. Sadly that is not always how it is. Editorial comment over. What a great chapter! So much happened, and not just to Bailey. Gotta love that Declan! Supporting his fella, or at least I know he wants to think of Bailey as his fella. And I hope Bailey can eventually back off on Daniel. Clearly his mother needs Daniel's support.

The sad part is according to the countdown you mentioned this is three, leaving only two and one to go. Cal is one of the most amazing characters! There are a couple of others I am also following on GA, and I have struck a chord with all of them, which surprises me. They and their lives are so different from mine. I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but I love the voice you have given Cal, and I love being in his head! I hope you are planning other stories with great characters because I am going to miss this one. Thanks.

Better times for Don now that his penis has decided to work again. I wonder if stress and anxiety were issues that he some how got past. And of course better times for Louis now that his man is back. Things seem to be getting back to normal. Or maybe moving on to the new normal. Thanks for more of this good story.
