Yeah, from Mark's dad talk I thought he would be ok with a gay kid, so hope it is not them. But still... A young teen... Not the young kid or baby that Teddy wants and deserve, it might be hard for them to start with a teenager. But it will be someone that truly needs help... Crazy hypothesis... Oliver's enemy, that bad mouthed Teddy, it's Tommy right? That would be strong twist.

Damn, most of the chapter was actually nice and uplifting, just what I needed after sad news. But the last part was troubling... Hope is not Mark, that's the only one we know... Don't know what happened, but for you. I can definitely understand criticism, not everything is good for everyone, but cannot tolerate meaness.

Ok I can understand better, and for me it is a bit easier to accept, even if not forgive, coward than malice. Still, everything about Richard was wrong. The way he dealt with his doubts, the sleeping with his future wife while still dating, playing with Drake until the last day, was terrible (I might be weird, but for me that, allowing feeling to develop for other person while still dating is worse than if he had random hooked up with a woman to "be sure"). And while everyone deals with their sexuality different, even the way he explained his sexually was strange. I could understand, even if not like, a bisexual with doubts on where he was leaning, but his explanation of latent sexuality was strange, and not exactly the contrary that some gay men live. He was high school straight and dated women, that decided he was gay and wanted a forever life with Drake, to finally feel completely straight again... But the even if we could understand all that, the insult to injury was that kiss. Not the chaste one, that you could give to someone you love and want in your life, but the second lustful one, that you would use to someone you are in love or lust about. He really is a messed up mind. I actually feel that in the end Drake was very soft with him. Not inn the part of hearing him, that was good, Drake finally hear someone or something, but the whole keep in contact thing... I mean, unless very special circumstances and a mutual break up happens, exs should be "dead", keeping it "friends" is very hard when you can't have neutral feelings about it. And a picture of your baby??? Really? What is that, rubbing salt in the wounds, saying "where is the baby we are not having, because I fucked you over to go fuck my ex-girlfriend!"

"Like we were meant to be together right now. Like he was meant for me." They were so cute!! Sure there were doubts and fears, but they were a young couple trying thing together, getting closer. It is so interesting to see Oliver growing and maturing with the experiences around him. He didn't live any of Ryder's hardships, or Tommy's sickness, and I hope he will never have to, but he is still learning from them. I know that at 13/4 they are young and life can throw you a ton of curve balls, but I hope they live through it, they seem to balance each other.

I normally don't like Klaus very much, and I am the first to criticize him, but he was a very good support to Jake this chapter. It was sad to hear their stories, but a good moment for Jake to grow, and gain some confidence and love.

If you were not awesome, I should hate you right now! I read this in the afternoon while on the subway and was fighting tears the whole time! Why do I read while commuting??? This was a powerful chapter. Starting with their cold happy moments (good to see the Teddy is not against versatility, he probably is just overprotective of Ryder). And then the openess of Ryder in therapy, showing how committed he is to getting better. He even seems reluctant to reduce it, and there is no shame in that, some people do it their whole life, as long as he feel good with it. Finally the powerful momentin the cemetery and the old house. I have the same fears and could actually imagine it being burned down. But I guess going back is also an interesting decision. Specially since Ryder being rich he can completely remodel it. The house will be an allegory to his life, same backbones and history, but new life, reborn from love. PS: we all know that Teddy is baby crazy and want kids, but up to now Ryder didn't seem enthusiastic. However this was a first time he acknowledged raising a family. I can already imagine them raising a little... I don't know, Lawrence or something...

Diseases... They are not together for that long, and Ryder is/was a drug addict, with higher risk of having a disease. They probably did blood tests when he entered the hospital, but he probably needs to do another 6months after, to be sure.

Actually you need permission from whomever has the songs rights', most of the times are the recording companies, but Ryder is always saying how he owns his stuff, so maybe when he dies (at 90s ), Teddy or whomever is his heir, will decide.

That's what I thought... Messiah members are self-centered idiots with a complex to not grow up. The family members had their own reasons, and make their mistakes, but are getting better together.

Cool. In the first part they all deserve some brownie points and slaps on the wrist. Oli is right that he was to try, that working actually makes him mature, but he cannot forget that even compared to Ryder in the start of Messiah, he is only 13 and cannot ignore cell phones or schedule. It is not hard, there is a reason they are also called mobile phones, just keep them with sound or vibration in your pocket. His parents are already making a huge compromise, stricter ones wouldn't let a 13 year old in a band, even if it's a genius. And he can never, ever, scream or be rude to his parents, after the interview fight he should know that the way to get his mother his talking, not screaming. Jill has the right to be angry with the school suspension, and with not having news of his son, but she could also have handed better, no scream, since she knew that whatever they were doing was authorized by the other parental unit, even if not the long hours. But I guess Olivia had to get his temperament from someone. Will not repeat myself, but while Ryder was good in dealing with Oliver problem and keep him focused, he has to move from being an single guy with no family or responsibilities, to being part of a couple a the responsible adult when he is with Oliver. Again I understand his need to stay late the first day he returned to the studio, but cell phones, call your partner, call home. Second part was unbelievable... They don't deserve to be rich and famous... Come one, they are not early twenties anymore, mid thirties, saw how Ryder was in the later stages of Messiah, and don't understand the concept of a drug addict? Specially Brandon, I am sorry, be he deserves a punch in the face, giving an addict alcohol. Damn he visited Ryder in the hospital, knows he tried to kill himself, knows since the band started that he has severe mental issues... They are some fuck ups and he keeps saying sorry after. Thank God Ryder is doing much better, and has the strength to chose love for himself. Of course they personal time helps.

Great chapter, Andy is starting to help with Eric problems. Giving him books and convince him to do anything social will sure make Eric feel less isolated. However did Andy started that hard battles, like getting the landlord to fix things and benefits from the city? Eric could really use so life quality improvement.

It seems that all are victims of their own nature. Yeah Grim plan for Maxthane and with the mage was not great, better kill them. I just hope he can stop the demon, but I fear that even a Fedain might have an hard time killing that one. If killing the more powerful one were easy, they would have convinced the Fedains in doing it so last time. I just hope Max Fedain blood is enough to heal him, even with Fasha demon venom. Fasha really in a demon of cunning, planning in the shadows the return of the demons.

Great chapter.. we see a bit more of the characters, Robert doubts and fears, Adam clear and fair approach, but also caring side of wanting to spoil his son a bit, Duncan friendship with Adam. They will be great models to Robert. We can dislike his mother, but she seems to have raised a good kid. 15 years is a long time, specially since Adam is not that old. I wonder what happened between him and his younger brother.
