That's good relationships... Carter balances Riley, and Walter balances Nancy. both in a relationship are needed. I am torn between saying something to Carter/Nancy about the pot, and the calming effect it has on Riley. I understand it might be good for him, so maybe he shouldn't stop right now, but still feel they should know in case it starts having other effects or interactions.

Hope it is not fake, but the interaction with Trey in the court was good. Since before he was the new one, Riley hadn't been in this position before, of accepting a new person, he was the one proving he was worthy last time, so understanding he has friends, teammates, that have his back will be good for him.

This was a turning point chapter... Will Jeff question David as well? Sometimes we see only what he want to see, but after his own observations that it is always Simon with David, it is will be too obvious not to question. I wonder how he will react... He loves his kids, and when he compares and thinks about the brutally of the war, he is actually less conservative and more open to protect them, we see that in the way he reacted to Simon's father hitting him and throwing him out. But he does have the underlying tough man machismo and the drinking problem, and the reaction can be different when it is your kid. Knowing the twists and turns @Dodger Can throw in his stories, the reaction can be from mild to wild... My guess will be something intermediate, i don't see him throwing them out, but I don't see him understanding their relationship also. I guess Jeff's brother will have to come to the rescue... Of course he can make a super twist and David not being gay at all (😁 I am still trying to understand the last chapter on another of your stories 😛)

hey we are in chapter 46, the guy basically had a shooting contest and runaway in the southside, let him have some good times =P Actually i really like how Riley is maturing, even if it's in is silent way. The parents forget that he is not a normal teen with hormones and casual dating, in some aspects he was force to grow from kid to adult when he was 11/12, so it is normal than as 16/17 e finds someone that behave more like a longterm life partner, and not as highschool boyfriend. But they are very good for each other, I guess Riley did learn things with Eli, who lost the love of his life, and he his talking and sharing with Carter. If Carter was not in the picture, i don't think he would be mature enough to have surgery.

Yes, finally! Jake needed to take control away from Klaus, to make him feel vulnerable and exposed, to undo those emotional walls. And at the same time, he was not being mean, but told him how much he loves him. Maybe we Klaus can find now more balanced emotional state, away from the cold bastard one. Now what does it means that the bed was empty? Did Jake regret, or just left for a bit. Is he breaking then for sure, or just went to pick breakfast?

I think in CJ and Owen's mind (and Carlos), they want to have their house, not living in daddies' house. They are the heirs, but that's only when the parents die. So this was an arrangement with the Dads that allow them to help the younger ones (we don't know the conditions of the mortgage, I imagine the dads gave them very low, or no interest at all), while making them owners and responsible for their own lives.

OK, hope it is not fake because Riley already had a lot of bad things in his life, but Trey was alright this chapter... So I am hoping they just had a bad start, the new kid and the come bach guy, they could actually be friends, and it would be good for Riley, someone that's not from there, and doesn't feel the past gang story the same way, since he didn't live in the city.

Im not very happy about the weed, specially because I didn't understand if Carter know or not. It can actually chave a good effect calming Riley, but as with all drugs and medication, people close to him have to know if it starts to have other effects. The Doctor was cool.

So was the demon invasion ascut happened intended? Or was there a great betrayal? In the end Ghayle wrote the book Maxthane has now, that helps fight the demons, so I guess not everything went according to plan. And if Prism is dead, why bind him to the world and try to explain what happened? Is there a way he can still influence the world?
