Jeff, Thank You so much for bringing us this excelent story of love, hate and remorse. You wraped things up nicely. I was always on team Brett and the last chapter simply wraped it up with a big pretty bow. There is a certain humor to pastor Carls son coming back to town to oficiate over a gay wedding in the town that shuned Billy, Brett, Dustin and Nate. Very very nice. It would have been nice to follow the boys further along their road of life, but we can fill in the blanks with our immagination. You have painted a very vivid picture of the future. You always probiced not to hurt the boys forever. You have honored that promice with a special ending. I hope your future continues with peace and happiness. You are a talented story teller. I found and read this about 4 1/2 months after the holiday. It really does not matter when it is read, it is still a wonderful story that adds a sparkle of happiness for the reader to enjoy. Great work .

I'm glad this story came back. I like the drama with Rachel. Now for John..... I will prime the pump for Wesley... John is a pimple puss douchbag that really needs to be poped and steralized. There, that should give @Wesley8890 some ideas . Keep up the great writing!!!!!

Great story Caz. It is building slowly to what will surely be a a colorful showdown. I think Paddy and the bears seer will keep the mystery moving forward. Now Frans revelation is a great cause for concern......

Well, Billy made this bed and now he has to sleep in it. I have been on team Billy/Brett for this whole series and now am honestly questioning my loyalty. Both Dustin AND Joey are showing better character than Billy. Brett is hurt very deeply and rightly so. I do think after there is time to let things settle they may be able to begin to mend the broken fences. It is just so dumb on Billys part to have let this happen. Brett basicly and openly told Billy that he knew about his father and gave Billy every chance to be honest and Billy just played dumb. Both Paula and Joey have steped up to the plate with reasonable actions and comments. To me the biggest clue to the possibility for redemption (pun intended) is Brett asking Joey to return Billys phone. If there were no hope Brett would have just trashed it with no thoughts. Joey has also grown a lot at this point. He honered Bretts request to return the phone to Billy and had some very reasonable thoughts and advise for him. The old Joey would have done anything to stir the pot and increase the hatred out of simple revenge on Billy. The next few chapters will tell a lot................. I too want to know the relevance of Georges coin collection to the boys. I think it is going to be a very important issue..................

Great chapter with vivid desctiptions of sights, sounds, smells and feelings brought to the surface while reading of the holocaust memorial. I am very much like CJ in reguard to feelings on religon (thats the only part of me like CJ.....), however, the decription of the places and the things they represent can only make one feel the pain of the past. It is so hard to hear about Liz and the return of her cancer. I can only imagine the feelings of both Owen and CJ with Owen needing CJs support while being so far seperated. Keep up the good writing Carlos and we will keep reading and waiting for more .

I think Dustin has moved up my judgement ladder to near the top. He understands and admits his feelings and is moving forward with honesty. Billy needs to figure out how powerful honesty, or more to the point, dishonisty is to relationships. Brett is not dumb and now he has had weeks to think things over. I think he will figure out who his father is, if he hasn't already...... As for the school boards proclamation of 'no same sex couples' at school functions, I think the Footloose idea has merit. They have no power over things not "school sanctioned". A dance in a barn on private property is only controled by the property owner and the voluntary atendees. I have always loved to be able to beat the $hit out of people with their own rule book. How much fun would it bee for the kids to get permission for a dance at pastor Carls church and have same sex couples there from all around the area attending. Carl and Mr. Tayler and everyone of their ilk would simply piss themselves. Yea, fun with a rule book . Maybe the teacher forced to retire would donate the barn to the cause......... Great writing and very interesting hapenings. Keep up the good work.

I remember him mostly as Winchester from MASH. However, I never saw a charcter he did not do exceptionally well. R.I.P. David, you and your characters will be remembered.

I too am sorry for your loss. Remember the good and fun times with her. You will smile and cry over both from time to time. We lost out 20 pound boy tux 7 years ago. We still have pictures of him on the refrigerator. I smile at him every morning. We now have the two in my avatar, Samson and Delilah. They are great, but very different furkids. Keep your heart open to the furkids that need a loving home and your life and home will be much warmer .

I am thinking it is most likely to be something that will provide security for both Billy and Brett. Most likely financial security.... I hate Apple products, so I will vote for opeming offer stocks of either Microsoft or Nike.. OR BOTH!!!!!!

This was a very moving chapter. The talks between Billy and both Jen and Paula were very moving and needed. Jen still has many internal conflicts, each of which could go many ways. She is just focused on the worst possible outcome and not even allowing for the possibility of a better result. Time will give us an answer to this subject for better or worse. Paula is definately turning a corner. I hope the new path leads to a much better relationship with both her son and Brett. The coin collection rears its head again. George made it clear to us that the collection had a much deeper place in Billy and Bretts life. I am not sure if it is the value or something symbolic or even possibily something hidden within, but George was very clear that it was VERY important. Great writing Jeff. Please keep it coming. Now that you have hurt all the boys very deeply, I am trusting you to repair the dammage .

I think we are in for more turmoil and possibly some upset. Alex has the ability to deflect emotions for his use. Bringing Tom over for a visit, on the same day as the adoption, seems like a tinderbox waiting for a spark. It also seems very likely that with Alex and Tom both in the mix, Nathan will feel slighted and depending on the direction things go, many hearts may be broken in one fell swoop. I really don't like the vibe I am getting from this lead in......

I am also on the wagon against the injustice of how small town politics and religion can often merge into a breathing demon of it own. I hope Billy and Brett and Dustin just sit back and bring hotdogs and marshmallows to the fire and enjoy the show! In a perfect world lightening would strike the curch at high noon on sunday and remove all of the creatons from town. If we are nice, Paula might be late for the roast and survive. An alternative would be for Joey to go Poastal and take out Carl and company then get off on a temperary insanity defense. It would be the only time I would agree with that defense and outcome....... Great writing Jeff. Waiting for more. The poor bicycle is quaking in the garage after your title announcement .

I really like this story and the various elements of Robbies life. I am also on the questioning the adoption bandwagon. I do not think Sue and Don are plotting any financial issues, but the amount of legal control they will gain might be worth considering. Unfortunately, Robbie is to young to think through all of the angles right now. It is nice that he has friends that look out for him even if he does not know the actual value of this in the real world. Looking forward to the next installment!!!!!

Guilty as Charged... I could not hope for a better outcome. Another brother and it is looking like a grand also, if the judge can keep up with Nan .Loved this ending and look forward to a lighter continuing story. Keep up the great work!!
