  1. See my Blog entry about my Notes Journal. I have tons of unfinished stuff, from ideas, character profiles, notes for current stories, etc. all tucked into that notebook, and to a lesser extent in an online document through One Note and One Drive.

    Crash Course

For a writing exercise in doing a sex scene, this story has more than just "Wham, bam, thank you, man." There is a plot, and a fantastical world that this short is in. Pros: Tender loving scene, between two guys. Cons: It's short, and leaves you wanting more. Plot is a little thin, but then it's an exercise piece.

Thank you, Myr. Your work is appriciated, so please don't get discouraged.
  4. Yes it is. Sorry, I wasn't that clear. Lord of the Flies was a group read project. Loved the book, and both movies.
  5. I literally have fallen asleep 10 pages into the first book, several times now. I have never read the books fully. I did the Hobbit because it was forced on us in school, as a group exercise (that and Lord of the Flies).
  6. I'm relatively new here. But just from reading stories, posted over the years, I would have to say Yes.
  7. I'll admit, I love my erotica as much as the next guy, and I read more stories on Nifty than I care to admit. I came to GA via Nifty, as I was following an Author to see if they finished a story, here, that they had posted there. (Sadly, they hadn't and that person is no longer active.) I've written some spank material, that I've thought of posting, not here but Nifty, but I'm self-conscious of what I write. I mean, I wonder if people like what I post here, and I just imagine if they would like the Porn I post... or would I even want to know if they like said porn! I will say, I am surprised about some of the older GA stories, and how graphic in descriptions they can be. Like the year 2010 postings, several of those are Nifty Level.
  8. Lemon-Lime flavor. Sorta like Sprite, or 7-Up. A friend of mine who got me to play EvE brought some home from FanFest in 2014. EDIT: From Wikipedia:
  9. Yes, yes it is... and it's good. Every year CCP, the creators of EvE Online hold FanFest near their company headquarters in Reykjavik, Iceland. Where they sell Quafe and other game exclusive items. Never been, but I will go party with those Vikings one day!
  10. I hated reading at first. I was born with a learning disability, that affected my reading skills, and it was a chore. It was also undiagnosed at the time. Then in the second grade, my teacher Ms. Eason (yeah I totally put her in a story), was the one who told my mom to get me tested. I ended up in Special Education classes for English and Advanced Placement for History, Math, and Science after that. Reading became fun, when my seventh-grade teacher told me, "You need to find something you like and do a report. You have until the end of the semester." I ended up picking a paperback copy of the Weis and Hickman book, Dragonlance Saga - Dragons of Autumn Twilight. I was hooked on reading after that. The only book series to date, I can not stand to read is Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. It's God awful. EDIT: How it influence me. I like to write about Epic stuff (in my opinion), and I write about a lot of game related things, which Dragonlance was part of. And I try not to suck like Tolkien.
  11. Yes. If I don't write something every day, I feel lost. As jp, I use writing as a form of Therapy, and explained a bit more of this over in the club. It helps. I share only a fraction of what I write. LIke I have some Nifty Level Smut, that I have not shown to anybody, at all.

Thanks! As I mentioned to jp, Evan wants something Marcus, doesn't realize he has. Two things really. If it came to light that he owned one item, about 90% of New Eden would want him dead, just to get it.
  13. It's really good too. LOL. Had a Friend go to Eve FanFest a few years ago, and brought some back from Iceland.
  14. Thanks! EVE Online has been out since May of 2003. There is a LOT of Eve lore, and Fiction created by players. I just hope I'm doing the game justice.

Thank you, Moggie. Just a couple of more chapters.
  16. @W_L I've always been a sucker for drone boats. Because I'm running an Alpha Account, stuck with Gallente ships. Currently driving a Thorax, and a Mining Frigate. I'm not 100% a carebear, but I do mostly PvE, Mining, and Salvage due to my comp being a six-year-old Craptop.

Thank you, jp. The answer to your question is Marcus being played... Yes and No. 1. Yes - Marcus has something that Evan wants and would kill for. For that, you'll see in a chapter or two. *Big Evil Grin* 2. No - Evan generally loves Marcus, and he is "a much better person when [Marcus] [is] with [Evan]." They have a history. Now, in the Real Game, and not fictionalized, Marcus and Evan were played by me and a friend who got me into Eve. We played in a Role-Playing Player Corp, and started the characters together. So, we made up stories, within the guidelines that CCP allows (which they are very liberal with what Fans can Produce Fictionally), and my Marcus found something that his Evan was better suited for. LOL. Made for fun times.
  18. Ain't that the truth!
  19. @Mikiesboy @CassieQ @Cia @mogwhy @robertlee Thank you, guys. I've been using yours, and @Comicality's advice and it's helped somewhat. I thank you all for posting, and hopefully soon, I can get back to my main stories.
  20. For discussion of the Story, and Eve Online in general.
  21. Dodixie Blues He sat at the jump gate, in the short jump cloak gathering his bearings. Marcus reached out with the shuttle's sensors and detected only the Concord Patrol craft in the area. Deciding that it was clear, he aligned with his target station and engaged the warp drive. “Warp drive active,” Aura intoned in his mind like she always did when entering warp drive. The shuttle leaped into the warp tunnel, and flew across the solar system, to the Federation Naval Assembly Pl
  22. I'm disabled. Both Physically, because of a work-related injury, and Mentally with Bi-Polar and Depression. I've mentioned this before, but never fully discussed it openly, because of current legality reasons. Even with writing, I can only do it in spurts, because of my disability. It sucks, when you get into the groove, but have to stop because you can't type anymore because your hands are shaking too bad, or the pain from sitting is too much. I've shared more about my condition here than I have anywhere else. That's the background, to why I write, now for the reason. I write for myself. It's an escape for me, from the real-life issues I go through. I let a select group of people, friends/family Beta Read it, and then it goes to my friends here on GA like @BlindAmbition who Beta Reads some stories, and @Kitt who does Edit work for me (which I can not thank enough for doing so, in her limited time). Others have as well. I know it sounds selfish, but my primary focus for writing is me, myself, and I. The people who read, and enjoy my stories, make me feel happy that they do, and I feel fulfilled when they comment and react to a story. I am happy, surprised, and extremely appreciative of them for reading my work, as it helps with the Depression and Bi-Polar, and makes me feel like I can do something besides sitting on my ass doing nothing, for the rest of my life. A lot of times, I don't comment on stories, and tieing into other threads here, is because of the handshaking, etc. then forgetting to go back and do it later.
  23. A fantastic story, of a chance encounter, that turned into a lasting friendship.
