This chapter showed a lot about Cid. It wouldn’t work with Billy. In some ways, he is Billy. Cid puts up a strong front, but he’s vulnerable. He’d need a strong personality like Kellan. Kellan’s approach is also good. He isn’t pushing, or suffocating. The complete opposite of Billy. Cid would be the big spoon to Billy. Cid needs a big spoon himself.

Frank is exactly what Billy needs. Protective, attentive, and understanding. Their interactions aren’t forced, or one sided. I like Cid, but he’s not the right one. Cid has to work through his issues. Until then, there’s no opening his heart to someone.

Another great chapter. The Grand Inquisitors remind me of useless US politicians. Are they just going to sweep events under rug? A sword that rebukes you and your attitude, that’s new! I’ve never held a conversation with a long, cold piece of metal. Look forward to the next installment.

I loved the relaxed tone of this one. Yet, some very important references to our freedoms. The parting words from Ambassador Kennedy are a strong endorsement for CJ and his future. Lets not forget... a feckin possible Versace model for CJ. On Vogue no less. This guy farts 24k lucky dust through life. Good job papi! -

The sadness is felt in both. First is is regret and lost chance. That’s one that nags through life. The second poem shows sadness in being overlooked. The need to be desired. Both are beautiful in the way they get straight to the emotion. -

I must be reading a different story. I don’t get why everybody is ragging on Frank. He handled Cid with no judgements, threats, or ultimatums.

This made me cry. The fact that Billy’s mother saw the love in the pics... There’s hope for her yet. How ironic for both mothers to see the boys aren’t whole without each other. There’s no controlling what’s meant to be. The Dr. disappoints again. She’s beyond help. She will no doubt destroy her relationship with Brett. I hope he overheard the conversation.

Shadow people are found in religion and many beliefs. There are different types. Each representing different things. They are supernatural.

If we go on the theory of shadow person, Fasha could be good, evil, or neutral. Some folklore even suggest they are a point to another universe.

Finding Focus

I’m sorry for the loss. Pets are family and give unconditional love. Your kitty gave you the gift of love and companionship. Now she gives you inspiration. Writing has always brought me healing and peace. Best therapy there is. -
Cid is not forthcoming. Billy doesn’t listen. He has what I call selective hearing. Billy needs to grow the F up. Start exploring with someone his own age. He’s like a lost puppy. Cid needs some serious therapy to deal with his past. His fear is not healthy. Which only leads to disaster.

Billy’s parents were able to get through, in a way Cid and Frank were not. Frank would be a better fit. That family is a little too much (Leave it to Beaver). For my taste anyways.

Each chapter brings more confidence and further out of comfort zone. I’m happy that Adam sees his father did him a favor. Hate is a destructive emotion to harbor.

I’m from a different mind on Frank. I’m Jersey through and through. We’re brutally honest. That’s how I see Frank. He isn’t sugarcoating. He is showing Billy that this friendship with Cid is not equal. Cid has to give a little. Billy has to cool the eager beaver act and chill.

Well we know a piece of Styx’s familial background. Prism and Fasha have some skills. I believe Prism is right about Fasha. He is tough, and a worthy opponent. The magnet and metal body are an interesting development. Prism is thoughtful and lives by truth. His talk about fear reminded me of Spock. He’s all about logic.
