Good job Gary! I just love this story... It is completely different than any other shifter story I've read. I appreciate the character development. The healer and earth-mate aspect are a unique and special attribute to the story. I am happy to see that Eleanor is pregnant. Looks like the earth mother is changing things for the pack. The community is getting its first shifter baby in a very long dry spell. Takes a special kind of author to make you care about their characters. An author like @Headstall

The most annoying thing about this whole tale... Billy is way more self-centered than Brett. He never really takes responsibility for his actions. Blames everyone else. -

@jkwsquirrel has done a very good job describing the teen years! Billy and Brett started by being lovable adolescents. With them spending time with Billy's grandmother. Now one minute you sympathize with them... The next minute, you want to bitch-slap them! -

I just love the relationship of these two boys. Of course they are experiencing sexual firsts together. They are also growing... Constantly communicating. The most important aspect of a relationship. I also respect Nelson, for trying to hold restraint. -
That Carter is one smart cookie. He noticed the action of Cy grabbing at his waistband when waking up. Knew exactly what Cy was looking for. I think Carter is just what Cy needs. He relaxes when he is with Carter. The only time that Cy isn't on guard. Must be exhausting not trusting anyone. That coach is a real ass... The remark about anything missing from his office. Just completely uncalled for. Especially when it's a teacher.

I really love this story so far. The main characters are likable, which is always refreshing. Landon has every right to be angry. However, he hasn't even given Helen a chance. There are always two sides to a story. He is the ultimate in passive /agressive. Where to start with Chandler. That poor guy. He loses his family. The state puts him with a drugged out family... Who only want his foster check. Luckily, the Greenfields give him love and support. Hopefully enough to keep Chandler from completely losing it. I also don't understand why the family doesn't try and get him living with them.

The relationship between Brett and Corey frustrates me... I don't think either has been fair to the other. It all comes down to communication... Brett should have been upfront about just wanting to experiment. He should have stopped when he saw Corey falling for him. If he was his best friend... He never should have taken Corey's cherry! As for Corey... He doesn't seem to want to see the clues he also doesn't seem to listen to Brett's words. Which is important; no matter if he is your friend or boyfriend. Its pretty crappy for Brett to flaunt his girlfriend and disregard his friendship with Corey. I'm happy to see Corey has a shoulder. However, I think these two are better off without each other.

While I don't question the love of Billy and Brett. Their relationship is very toxic right now. They need a break from one another. As a teen... You're dealing with hormones. However, these two have way more issues. Issues to be dealt with only themselves. While Billy is a little more mature. Both of these boys are lacking maturity. No adult supervision to see all the meltdowns. -
Another great chapter... Ryder was making so much progress. Sorry to see him have another attack. By no fault of his own. That girl is just nasty! I know that Jackson has issues that make him like that. However, that boy gets on my last nerve his disorder is no excuse for being a complete jerk. With Ryder having access to therapy. I think he should recommend some help for his prior boyfriend. Who obviously isn't dealing well with mothers rejection.

This chapter was a roller-coaster of a ride.... But I guess that's life! You start with the sweet family moment in bed. We end with the loss of a baby. Tragic for Beth! I so hope that Alex gets revenge on his father. Makes him pay for his crimes!
