    Mr. Mancini came along at exactly the right time to help Damian, and gave him some good advice, and support that he needed. Those jocks should get some punishment for being bullies, at least James stood up to them.

    Nari hobbling around the castle looking for Ben, and found him with his father. Father joked with his son, and admonished him to heal, just as his Mother had. What adventures will they get up to after the healing? And wondering if Beynar has any ideas about Ben’s traversing worlds through the spring?

    Wolf meets wolf, but there is definitely something wrong with Pembroke. That he felt he had to lash out at the new wolf… and was it just the incense or was that to dull his senses in working with humans? And the mystery fortune teller… who truly seems like something else entirely. Will he be helpful or not?

    Nice getting to know you chapter. And a slow build to a friendship, which could lead to more. yes, helping people move was something that I volunteered for when I was young, but after a move from a 3rd floor walk up to another 3rd floor walk up, I called it quits.

    The work experience is like unpaid interns, on the job training, but the employers really don’t know how to utilize them best. Inflation at work, 5 pounds 10 years later is not as much as it used to be. Liam does get some insight to his family from his Aunt’s visit. Ed points out he may be getting out soon.

    I caught that in the beginning where he had never had alcohol before, and ordered a Long Island Iced Tea…. Thinking this is going to be interesting… then he kept drinking them. Interesting how it was mentioned the Storm Wolf died in an accident, was it that fight with his protege? The jumping around in time and characters is taking a little getting used to. The first guy trying to pick him up was very interesting. Loved the visual of the different pedestrian levels, and the parkour tour.

    Awesome chapter. Alec and Rick are good for each other. With Rick looking to go into law, maybe entertainment law? He could help steer not only Alec’s career but other aspiring young talent as well.

    Zdain’s father is a pompous ass, and meeting with anyone in power may not be a good idea. His mother’s thoughts about his being gay are not enlightened at all… his brother still cares for him. i thought that Josel had feelings for Zdain, beyond just friendship, so why is he so insistent he’s only into girls? At least he is comforting to Zdain, still being his friend.

    Loved the clothes changing room scene. Richter is still not comfortable around crowds. Lovely ending to this book. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

    Wow, the way you led up to them going up to the Ark, it just felt like something ominous was going to happen.. then it did. What were the “bullets”? And why weren’t they detected by the defense systems in place? Had they been sent by the crazy dictator? Huge cliffhanger. Those 3 individuals are going to be severely missed.

    Interesting discussion about possible causes for this magic bomb. There is definitely something underground, but pesky bureaucracy is keeping them from records, briefly. Dust’s obsession with Kellen needs to be sated soon…

    This was a powerful chapter. The Fae elders seem like total cowards. It took the 3 guys fighting together to beat off the soldiers and get to Lachlan. He had to kill Kerian for Rory to unleash some next level magic, that he didn’t have any problem directing. The whole resurrection scene here was different than Kerian’s vision. Parts were similar, but different. This ancient tablet, did someone else discover it first to unleash this mind control? I think Ash and Desmond may have some kind of bond which will let Ash rescue him from the possession. Then to some passion like the princes have been having?

    Through their travels they keep running into people they either know or who are willing to help in some way. This may be why they were so easily duped at the labyrinth hotel. Glad they found out Violeta is ok.

    If I remember correctly David Sr was the guy Grampa Geoff wanted to reconnect with that he had played around with in his youth, but the guy wanted nothing to do with those memories and tried to sell Geoff insurance… it really is a small world.

    After much Tim prepping the passage for safe entry, they find some possible treasure near the entrance. Maybe there will be more further in. Dev changing to a small dog to accommodate his metal plates worked out. I was wondering if they could change just their eyes to something that has better low light vision? They seem to be able to change arms and legs for strength. Hopefully what they find will set the boys up financially for their lifetime.
