Great chapter. You did get Kerian and Ash to finally play nice. This Fae court is mostly bickering people, without any backbone. If Lachlan is only a few hours behind, could they portal back to the half Fae village and get behind them? These Fae elders do deem to know a lot about what’s happening in Arcum, do they know as much about Helmsfirth? Or about what is causing the possession of the puppet soldiers?

Back at Serenity base with a genetic engineer. Adam has been hurt in the past, and wants a child as soon as possible. At least they discussed why, and were clear about that. Marc loves Adam, and told him that he thought his behavior toward him was enough to show he was going to be around long term. Maybe after the bonding ceremony Adam will feel better?

It seems like Tyler is being honest with himself about his feelings, and was able to open up to new girl in town, Christine. I think it will be harder to tell his best friend. -
What a change in Rory after they enter Fae territory. He instinctively knows what things will heal, and are good to eat. It does seem like morning sickness… so maybe he is pregnant. Seems like Kieran was right about something not good following them. Now it was Rory’s turn to be the hero. These new Fae are very funny, teasing them.

Great ending to book 1. A reflection of how the family came into being, and all of the love these original two have for each other and their added family members.

This chapter just emphasizes what good information an a supportive family can do to help a doubting person com to accept their gay child. Very well done.

Orion has learned big picture thinking from his mentor and it shows in this chapter. I’ve only been to PTown once and that was in the 80s, it was a fun week, got to water ski on the bay on a day that was calm as glass. With their diving and restoration projects this could be a great expansion. While helping locals have work and lodging.
