I doubt very much that the Yanks will be in the WS. Lost two games at home and now have to go play three in Detroit, where they'll have to face Verlander. Odds are extremely slim, especially having lost Jeter and with A-Rod, Granderson and Cano all in a major slump. Cardinals are hitting their peak at the right time though. It will be interesting to see how they hold up against SF. They took care of my Braves, so I give the Cards the advantage.

Wayne, I was fascinated by the idea that there is now magic in Storybrook, but the fact that this magic works differently will prove to be a game changer, becuase no one knows for sure what to expect. Regina couldn't get the Mad Hatter's Hat to work, Mr. Gold was surprised by how his attempts weren't working and Emma will indeed play a bigger role in this 'new world.'

The Beatles defined my gneration and if you look at the diversity of the music they created, the helped to revolutionize the genre. The songs posted above were terrific, but I think their Sgt. Pepper album was the most amazing of all.

Think about it! Say a guy has been locked up in prison for 30 or 40 years and gets released. How does he possibly function with all the technological changes that have happened since he was first sentenced?

Why hasn't anyone mentioned how the CD helped to replace the limited floppy discs? I think that had much more impact than the CD over vinyl.

It's not that the regular refs don't make bad calls, but the replacement refs are making a multitude of them in the same game, plus they seem to be losing control at times, which means player can, and probably will, get hurt. Some of the refs are even confusing college rules with pro rules, which does alter the game. I can forgive an occasional blunder, hell I've officed in numerous sports myself and know how difficult the job can be, but there are more than what I'd consider allowable mistakes in just one half, let alone the entire game.
