If he gets up early enough, but then his little legs probably don't let him get to his computer too fast.

I believe this may even be an understatement in this case, but we'll see.

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. Will that be true for Jeff? I guess we shall see. Because also, hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.

I'm sure that would be everyone's preference who was in Jef's situation. We'll see shortly if the DA agrees with that. But there really wouldn't need to be any further restrictions. This particular school is essentially a closed campus. Students/recruits are not allowed to leave of their own accord.

    Because I'm predictable?
  7. Leon’s phone had buzzed a few times while the cop had him detained. He walked out of the convenience store and bent over with his hands on his knees. He’d never been so scared in his life; well maybe once before. After a couple minutes of calming down, he looked at his phone. There were a few texts from Jeff. 'Where are you?' 'Still there, I guess. Did the cops show up?' 'What did you say?' 'Come on, Leon, answer me!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Leon decided to answer with two words:
  8. Sweet, a typo that kind of made me look smarter. Thanks @Summerabbacat She’s tremendously overprotective of him. Yeah, wrong kid to be that for. I do try to get my crimes and sentences right. As is the case here. Not a stipid prediction in the least.
  9. Dylan likes to torture, er, I mean play.

    Chapter 5

Thanks, I’m glad you appreciated it.
  13. Well, there is this concept called bail. Although it may not exactly apply this time.
  14. Stipid indeed. Like I implied above, just wait a few chapters.
  15. Yeah, I did make him a bit of a hardass, I’ll have to explain that at the trial. But you have to remember, at that point he didn’t know Leon wasn’t also a thief.
  16. I just loves me them cans a worms. It’s kind of weird how Jeff (and soon Leon) became more prominent characters. I guess they wanted to steal the limelight. Limelight, you were all I ever wanted since it all began. Alan Parsons Project if you didn’t recognize it. Guest singer Gary Brooker (RIP).
  17. I’ll expect a triple damn in a few chapters.
  18. It wasn’t so much that he’s gay, but that he actually saw them doing gay things. You know, don’t ask, don’t tell, and for God’s sake don’t let them see.
  19. Tuesday Stephen had invited all the guys over for lunch on Tuesday. His mom was very happy he'd already made a few friends; apparently something he hadn't done at all in New York. She went shopping Monday evening to pick up lots of things she felt boys liked to eat. "It's nice to meet you Pete, Alex. I'm glad Stephen already considers you friends." "He's a great kid, Mrs. Z. As he's opening up more, he keeps getting greater." Stephen blushed at Pete's glowing review. "I'
  20. I hear that. You can probably imagine how many times I read my own stories to keep things straight. I've occasionally created an info file when they get long enough to possibly lose track of what happened. Fortunately, multiple read-throughs of the relatively short ones usually cover my ass well enough.
  21. Very true. It matters whether or not we can find a way around it.
  22. At least that would be my excuse.
  23. We, the jury, find the defendant, @Valkyrie, guilty of involuntary bug-slaughter in the eighth degree. Exiling indoor spiders to their deaths by putting them out of doors.
