....and David thought his life was complicated enough already. That was a great development in the story. Just loved it!
Out of the mouths of babes - busted by Josh - great scene.
So Dean was a childhood friend and possibly Tyler's hero when they were kids. We haven't had any direct interaction between Tyler and Dean in the story so far, so it's difficult to assess their current relationship or lack thereof. All we've had really are just nasty remarks Dean has made about Tyler hiring Ugly Davey. <sighs>
I don't want to give up on the idea of Tyler falling for Ugly Davey, but it would seem less likely now since not-Ugly Davey is sort of back in Tyler's life.
Definitely a super chapter, EmDee!!
So Tyler kept saying "a good friend" to David but I find myself reading more into it. Just the romantic in me, I guess. If you're heading in that direction, I absolutely love it. I also find myself trying to guage Tyler's reaction, should he fall in love with Ugly Davey, when the "unveiling" finally happens. I'll just have to be patient.
Great chapter! Again, the dialogue was superb!
Loved this story! There was some tentativeness and that's perfectly natural. You dealt with it admirably. I must say, though, that if it weren't for Brian, Greg would still be shooting aliens. Good on Brian! Great character work here, Renee!
Excellent start! Some good character development and the dialogue is decent. A few typos here and there. Somewhere along the road, you might want to get yourself an editor/beta. See the editor's forum on how to do that.
Regarding the teacher, bitch or not, I found it odd that she would resort to name calling on her first day, first class. That sort of thing could get her in trouble pretty quick. "Bitches" are smarter than that. That said, maybe I'm stereotyping this character somewhat.
What a wonderful chapter! Beautifully written! The opening scenes were both senuous and erotic. Nicely done.
One tiny editing blip - Perter's name was used instead of Toby's - when going out for the prescription.
Looking forward to following this marvelous story.
I really must echo DutchJoey's comment on how you brought humour to the potentially horrific scene that was playing out. It all worked too. It certainly lightened the load, so to speak. Well done! I think my favourite part was Rebecca returning to Charlie's room with the axe. Will it turn out she's a volunteer fireman? Maybe we'll learn in the next chapter that Luke was axed to death.
Yes, it's a good thing I'm not writing this story.
Great chapter, Hamen!!
I think I see where you're going here....maybe. I won't bother saying where seeing that you won't tell me anyway!
Rocket is a hoot. It's never dull when she's around....and she makes a mean lasagna too!
Great chapter, KC!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, Cia! The miscommunication you created between them was genius. It brought out their worst for each to see and then you let them work their way back. Beautifully done!!
Really liked the elevator scene! Made me laugh. Especially when he explains his "outfit".
Why would Megan be interested in an insensitive twit like Jared? Oh well, when Cupid strikes, who am I to judge.
I'm already dying to get to the part where Tyler learns David's identity and what his reaction will be. Just so you know, I've never viewed patience as a virtue!
Another great chapter!
The final ghost in S&M apparel. That was great! Really enjoyed this chapter!
So the concluding chapter will publish on Christmas day. Quite fitting, I must say. Looking forward to it.
There, my cooling down cycle is complete. Now, what was I planning to say. Oh yeah, now I remember, more please! Wait a minute, I didn't do that right.
<kneels submissively> Master Mark, please sir, more?
Great chapter, Marky!
I almost died laughing when Jude reminded Henri that they were both dead, adding that he had personal knowledge of his death having been the one who killed him. Henri, of course, takes it all in stride.
I'm convinced Henri is thoroughly enjoying Jude's infatuation with Matt. He hasn't had this much entertainment in, well, centuries.
Lots of yuks and decent dialogue - definitely my kind of story!!
Great story, Comic! It's not often missed opportunities re-present themselves. Mickey is one lucky man. That said, he had the fortitude to take a long look at himself, accepted responsility for what happened, took some risks and karma blessed him. Nice read!
