While, in theory, Anton's joke on Simon and Finn was quite funny, it wasn't really when you consider the circumstances. The main thing, though, is that Anton's ok and will be joining his family soon. Will they continue the business or go ahead and sell?
What an amazing chapter. Hearing the Empress speak at the banquet was really great. She has kept her cards close to her chest and is ready to pounce (in fact she has already began).
Hopefully Yoshi can keep strong against the efforts to discredit and arrest Midori. Midori is critical to the plan. I don't know as I agree with Midori's tactics to not let Yoshi know how he was doing, as it would greatly firm up his resolve against those who want to stop Midori.
I think Brodie will come around once he's given serious thought to this whole thing. It would be pointless to have brought him into the story only to have him disappear so soon.
I wonder what Brodie's problem is? He seems like a very nice guy and I hope that whatever it is he and Carlton will become good friends.
I don't know why Carlton is sharing his cabin with Amanda since there are so many others for her to choose from. Kind of weird to me considering Carlton is gay.
Normally I would have thought that he was over-reacting, but totally understand this time. He could have told Mrs. Sanderson they were leaving, but given the state of mind of her husband it would be better for her to be able to say she didn't know they were leaving. Her husband sounds very volatile. Too bad, since the memories there about the people was positive.
We don't have to say what Anna is since we've trashed that through already, but her taking off like that is like her putting a nail in her own coffin. If she ever fights for custody she'll have a tough time of it..
It's great that both Ian and Adam have such great parents.
Great chapter! I am a little confused. Carlton is gay and yet I get the impression that somehow he and Amanda might be romantically involved. A kiss on the cheek in the morning? She is after all an employee of Carlton. I accepted that they lived together in a house because it was convenient and obviously Carlton's aunt and uncle are quite taken with her.
I'm really loving this story. Sure the relationship between Peter and Eric is pivotal, but I'm loving Makarovia too. Olek and Queen Anna are amazing as seems the people as well. There are challenges to all that coming, and that's making the story very interesting.
Things are going to change a lot for Peter and Eric tomorrow. Can't wait to see how that works out. I think that security is going to be a big issue now as well.
I think Bas is running from the situation as well, although it's obvious he will have some issues with them being there. Maybe he should have moved them into a temporary house instead of moving away from his homestead.
Great start to this story. And by the way, I didn't notice any mistakes - at least none that caught me attention and they usually do. Kudo's to Skip - and you too.
Glad to see another chapter on this long missed story. I know you've been still doing writing on other stories despite a lot going on in your life.
Based on the Blueblood story we knew that Tony had passed away, but that was all, so I was really curious to see the follow-up.
