Soup is always good; and can fix more things than people realize. Love the descriptive writing, truly first rate. The pacing in this chapter is excellent as well. Grey suddenly speaking Druidic caught everyone off guard.

Just feel sad...

Already adore Edna more than I already did before she even said anything. Grey and Dave need to have several conversations; but first to save the world. And aways we go.

Anytime Druids are involved; you can bet that there are big happenings in the offing. And Clara is right, nature is so powerful that for it to be so out of balance is something powerful at play.

Okay, this might actually explain a lot.

A curse is never something to take lightly. But they need a lot more information before they try and deal with this.

Okay, color me confused but thoroughly entertained. I really like Clara...

What the hell, the backstory left more questions than it gave answers. This was just well done; but not sure how I feel about it really. Will we find out what the curse was, and why did she try and shield Grey from it.

More interesting second chapter, I do think that Ilike at least the main characters. And the older lady with a smirk. I need a little more backstory as to why he ran, but hopefully that is coming up.

I honestly am not sure how I feel about this first chapter. The writing and pacing are good, but don't feel that any of the characters were introduced well enough for me to know if I like any of them or not. That said, intrigued enough to continue to the next chapter. LOL

Let's hope the group arrives at the valley before the bulldozers and other machines do. Loved how the situation played out at the meeting, with the protestors, and after the curtain was pulled. You can bet that while Morrisson and Harris were momentarily taken aback; they will come out swinging. These just keeps getting better and better.

Thrilled that Granger has another command, if only for a short while. But what a command, and his Majesty's request to guard his and his family personally. But of course, Granger will have to entertain them, and feed them, and play that game of court. He does it well, even if he doesn't enjoy it as much as some. Always nice to see old friends. And especially Kingsdale, I do hope they find a way to help him get a little more prize money, he could use a larger and healthier Irish estate, LOL. Can't wait to see what happens when they are on patrol protecting his Majesty. Let's hope nothing untold occurs.

Wonderful chapter, very descriptive, and love how Toby was so enthused and some of that rubbed off on Brian and Gordon. I swear, the first day of traveling a long way always leads to bickering. Not sure if it is the feeling of being trapped in a small space with the same people for a long time or what; plus, driving or riding either one can be exhausting. Think it is great that Toby is so okay with Brian and Gordon having their alone time. Can't wait for Russ to get there. This will show a lot of what he is really up to, at least I think it will.

Loved this chapter, I know he is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love JJ. Hilarious that no one came to his graduation, except about seven or eight people; did anyone have more than that really mattered? Hate that Carullo found someone else; I always thought he and JJ fit in this really weird way, but well, maybe they could come back together, has happened before in the CAP universe. Kris is an interesting person for JJ to get involved with; or will JJ go that far with him? The old Prussian family would appeal to JJ, as would the looks, but it will take more than that for him to score with JJ. I do think it is high time to get rid of Zanie, or whatever the hell she is calling herself these days. I could see JJ being around her for a good laugh; but the second it isn't fun; she should have been gone. Can't wait to see what happens next.

What a real delight, and so glad that Alvora and Declan have allowed their youngest to make the decision that he feels works best for him. I do worry with the incidents that have occurred; this might not be the best time to make this move; but you can't always do things on the perfect timetable. Plus, if his mother is deteriorating that quickly, they need to be there for her as well. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, Uncle John seems to be taking this seriously, let's hope he gets to the bottom of it quickly. Never doubt a mother's ability to know when something will occur with one of her children.

Cameron and Taylor are a delight. Glad they have given into the blessings of the God and Goddess. No one seems to be as concerned as I would be about the transgressions. Maybe having abilities or power gives them the ability to look past those things, but it would still concern me.

Well, this chapter certainly had the ick factor all in it. That said, the brothers certainly have a palpable sense of love and companionship about them.

Is this aimed at the boys; or are they just unlucky in being there for two of the illusion mishaps.

Glad there is such a strong connection between the neighbors and friends. But they need to really think about who would be behind this and be on the lookout for them. This could effect one of the boys, when no one else is close enough to help.

You know, there are always those that try to destroy, in one form or another, nature and those that are in touch with it most. I am glad that Fabien was able to focus his abilities and help his friend. I think I would have been a little more interested in who set the trap and why.

Rhylen and Fabien have such joy within. And the love that their parents have for them just shines through.
