Chapter 31 - Wyrms
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 31 - Wyrms
And there be Dragons about. And looks like they picked a winning ship. I do wonder if the barkeep was right; was it a genocide? So many questions buzzing about. -

Who killed Curtis Buck? - PART II
centexhairysub replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Would not have considered it but Big Buck sounds good for it; maybe a type of moral clause and all the revelations met it and the contract that was in place for years was fulfilled. Taylor or Miranda could have done it but honestly don't see any of the guys doing it. -
So many delicious little tidbits to snack on and share amongst ourselves. Loving this story more each chapter. Can't wait to see what happens next. Shocked that Charlie slept through the flight.

Carlos H Tribute Event - Deadline Approaching!

I expect some quality work out of this one. -
I swear if Zach worms his way back into Will's good graces; I am going to hunt someone down and beat them to death. So glad that Will fired the bitch. Cody needs to let someone else do the hiring; Will can do the firing. I don't think that Curtis killed himself; he was to egomaniacal to do so. And I don't think that Travis or even Zach would have handled it that way. I could see Taylor losing it and doing it, but well, I don't know. And I am sorry, but if Brad doesn't think that JP or Stef isn't capable of having Curtis killed and smiling the whole time, he has lost his mind. Excellent chapter, can't wait to see what happens.

Chapter 29 - The Rite
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 29 - The Rite
What a real delight; I do believe that keeping the old ways can be very important. You never know when something from the past will prove very important. I do hope we see these three again. -
December Signature Excerpt: Phases of the Moon by Mann Ramblings

Great story that I highly recommend. -
What a story this turned out to be. Sad of course that we lost Silas but had to realize it was coming. Rosalie is left but for how much longer. Vann knew, he just had to have everything confirmed. Caleb and Asa will have a time with those three and their best friend at Corbin's place. But would not surprise me if there were not more children in their future. They both have a lot of love to give. This has been a hell of a ride, and of course, I could see a few more stories, not just epilogues of this one. But the muse must be respected. Saying goodbye can be hard, as many learned at the end of this story; but you cannot move on without it.

Chapter 28 - Cooking, Cocktails, and Conversation
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 28 - Cooking, Cocktails, and Conversation
Well, never hurts to have a witch or three on your side. What a lovely chapter, so full of fun and frivolity. And we learned more about some spicy food, always a good thing. -
Chapter 27 - Refugees
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 27 - Refugees
What a delightful trio, hope they are successful and the fishing it good. But also hope they are able to keep the rubble cleaned up and people start to come back to the area. Good that they met some nice people for a change. -
Chapter 26 - The Giant
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 26 - The Giant
And away we go; but why the disguise? Are we hiding from the Organization? Totally badass move in getting rid of the giant cannibal. -
Another Psycho Visit and Finally a Breakthrough
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Another Psycho Visit and Finally a Breakthrough
They are right; there is one in every group that turns into an asshole; if not about a gay couple, it would be something else. They just have to think they are right at it all. I am glad that Derek was able to help reach out to his young patient. His supervisor is right; he has a natural way about him. Schools are not always accommodating about switching out schedules over personal issues, even in conservative areas; there can just be too much disruption and set a precedent that is hard to walk back from. Thought the therapist handled the situation very appropriately. But therapy will need to be ongoing for a while, maybe a great while. Smart to reach out to the school as well. -
I do think that Russ is genuine in wanting to be friends; and yes, friends with benefits. I think that to some extent, Russ is lonely for actual friendships and Brian and Gordon are friends that truly don't want anything else from him; that has to be somewhat unusual in his position, he said as much. I also think that Russ is coming to understand that for Brian and by extension Gordon, Toby comes first. Do like how well Toby is adjusting to some of the changes as well. I hope the Wednesday meeting doesn't turn into a clusterf#%k but I do think that it may. Well done.

Westerns are a particularly hard genre to write for in my opinion. The best writers are those that can handle the descriptive nature of the genre. You have to be able to paint a picture with your words of the world that you are creating.

Chapter 25 - The Children
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 25 - The Children
We can hope that a medical ship that is tied to several groups will be a safe haven for the children; if nothing else, they can at least make others aware of what they were going through. Destroying the shuttle was the only logical choice. But now we need to find a way to get back to tracking the Ulaa-Lah. The Captain needs his command back. -
Chapter 24 - Search and Rescue
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 24 - Search and Rescue
So glad they were able to get the kids free; but with the mainframe destroyed; they may never know the location of the ship. These three a a killing machine; but have no sympathy for anyone involved in hurting children, even if they were not directly involved, they had to know what was happening. -

Chapter 20 No Guarantees
centexhairysub commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 20 No Guarantees
Such descriptive and poetic writing in this chapter. I teared up reading about the mare and the foal being killed; but such is life in the wild. Mares like being alone when they give birth; but it does leave them vulnerable to predators looking for an easy target. Jubal needed to find some sight of the wild horses and he did; even helped them by killing two of the wolves. The wolves likely won't be scared off by the death of two of the pack; but they will be more cautious. Jubal needs to make some decisions of his own before have a real heart to heart with Lucas. That said, he needs to give Lucas a chance to make his own decision as well, but that can only happen after Jubal comes to know himself. Wonderful chapter, just wonderful.- 53 comments

I love penguins and am so glad they were able to heal the one that was injured. Michael seems like a really great guy. Hope he continues to grow in truth and honesty. Excellent chapter.

Chapter 23 - Back on the Ulaa-Lah
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 23 - Back on the Ulaa-Lah
Ah so more of a lying scheme than an actual mutiny. Penqui has to have known he did not have enough support. Well, they saved the Captain but lost the ship they needed to save the kids. What is going to happen now.... -
Chapter 22 - The Dark Base
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 22 - The Dark Base
It takes a special kind of evil to experiment on children. I hope they destroy everyone associated with this Organization. -
Truly a battle for the ages; Huntington's arrogance was his undoing in the end. He simply did not believe that he could lose; but threatening to expose the humans to this was his final act of stupidity. And the idea that he was just left to rot and be food for the animals was especially fitting. Caleb and Asa survived and so did most of the others; Asa did the right thing saving Reilly. Losing him would have truly devastated Sebastian. I am glad those in Texas did not suffer any serious damage; I just knew that Huntington would go after them in some way. Kage, even in death, protected Elijah and those that he cared about most. Kage may not have been pure; but his love for Elijah was. Truly epic.

Chapter 21 - War
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 21 - War
It is always the innocents that suffer. Well, I knew there was a reason behind the idiot councilor on the ship going all rogue. Spread the news quickly; make it public and bring everyone in...
