A truly delightful little story; full of surprises, humor, sass, and love. Enjoyed reading it and hope you enjoyed telling it; the writing and plotting was excellent.

Really enjoyed this chapter, I knew some about the Russians of this time period, but felt I learned a lot more. I will mirror Canuk, the Russian Empire could have achieved so much had they been lead by anyone with a lick of sense; but arguably no one after Catherine II did what they should have done for themselves, their people, or the world. Granger and Daventry seem to compliment each other in many ways. Daventry was right, but luckily Granger realized that and choose to act upon his advice. Can't wait for the next update, great story so far.

Excellent chapter, the writing was crisp and the flow was great. Good battle scene, I have a feeling that this may not be the only one; but not sure who the real enemy is going to turn out to be. Can not believe that Rhisi would turn out to be that stupid, really an amateur move on his part. Not sure who would win in a fight between Phuong and Rhava, but sure that neither would come out unscathed. Can't wait for the next update, keep up the great work.

Damn, how often does a chapter involve a perp walk, sex, and a declaration of love. Have to say that I truly enjoyed this chapter and this story both a great deal. The issue of the violence and other problems facing our LGBTQ youth and the social services system is troubling and appalling. This was well written, researched, and thoroughly enjoyable. Can't wait to see what you do next. -
An excellent addition to the story; well written but I did find the pacing a bit odd in this chapter. Loved how a mother's unconditional love shined through, it is how it should be but isn't always. I am not even sure if Araziah even knows what he truly wants yet. Water is in many ways the strongest of the elements and those that possess it's abilities prove to be the ones that last until the end. Can't wait for the next update.

Loved the latest chapter of Northern Exposure, just truly wonderfully done from start to finish. Granger has drawn first blood; and I would think that although his actions will agitate the current Czar, it may help the one in the wings. The battle was truly thrilling; and I loved that Granger was able to have a ordinary basic conversation during the height of it; shows just how truly in command of all he truly is. The dinner conversation with Daventry was spot on and a true delight. They each have their favorite of the Royal Dukes for different reasons of course, but they seem to understand them all to some extent. Can't wait for the next update, more please, as you can. Truly a splendid addition to the Bridgemont series...

Thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish, the writing, pacing, and character development were all first rate. Would not mind another visit with this group or perhaps a spin off of some type. Truly a delight...

The wedding and reception was a delight and Maria is adorable. I will truly be sad to leave these characters behind. Can't wait to see what happens at the festival. Great Job...

Truly enjoyed the update; can't wait to see what happens during the actual reunion. I would imagine it would be hard on both of their parts. The writing and pacing are both first rate as usual. I know it is funny but true that often the staff of the very rich can be more snobby about their employers and their actions the people with the wealth are themselves. Can't wait to see what happens next. -
Another great chapter, the pacing and writing were both first rate. Maria was featured quite a bit and that can only be a good thing. Ilya is going to go to town on more than a few people that Di Silva and his family were allowed to get as close as they were to the men, but especially Maria, and that is just as it should be. Will be sorry to see this story end; but I could see several possible ways for a sequel or spin-off. Keep up the great work, and can't wait for the next update. Why do I see a wedding in the future for Maria and DJ, maybe right here at the same venue.

Well, I am taking a different tack from sojourn and Canuk: I don't think that Daventry and Granger will ever get together. Daventry as shown no inclination toward taking a male lover; there are those that don't. It would not hurt for Granger to have a few straight male friends, I am sure that there were straight males in service to his Majesty at the time. I sort of hope that Granger finds a wonderful Russian lover; full of passion and pride. Granger read the situation with both the Danes and French perfectly. Loved how the Danish Lieutenant tried to translate what he thought was best; always good to have someone try to calm the situation. Can't wait for the next update; splendid job as always Mark...

Truly loved the ending; was glad that Diaz did nothing else to stop the relationship from going forward. I half expected him to show up and do something to delay the wedding. When you get right down to it; this was just a sweet simple love story between two people with a few obstacles but often those are truly the hardest to write and pull off well. You did both, the writing and pacing was good throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed this story on so many levels.

Some people are just beyond redemption, and in the end they usually end up with what they truly deserve. Did we ever find out who the mysterious guy was that kept popping up?
