Weekly Wrap Up (Apr. 12 - Apr. 19)

Austin, Texas area anywhere from 3.59 to 3.79 a gallon, but diesel is over 5.00 a gallon. Thanks as always for the look back at the week. Have to try and get through the latest postings of the poetry today. Hope everyone has a great week. -
Once again, Kaylen, Ronan, and Tomas ride into danger. They do so because their honor demands it and their country needs it. The foreign prince finds that while he was gone, the Marshall has struck first; but is this the start of a fatal blow, or the last stand of those that wish England to remain under their own rule? Kaylen is noble in his ways and actions. He does not take life easily, but understands when it must be done. So much ride on the next few months, who will prevail?

I just knew that the artefact was going to be some place totally mundane, and what could be more mundane than the back of an old lady's closet. I just truly love how this group has come together and grown and expanded. They make such an interesting chosen family. And I am so happy that Ian has started to come out of his shell more and more and that the group has been there and will continue to be there for him. I will be so sad to see this one go. -

OMG, a contrite, honest, and forthcoming Jeremy, is @sat8997, is Sharon still alive? So proud of Jeremy for admitting that he was wrong and what part of the issue was and is; did this fix everything, maybe, maybe not; but at least he and Will are back on an even keel. I do think Jeremy is right, his idea is just what Will needs to do; is this going to fix everything? Maybe, but if not, Brad, JP, and Stef will have to get involved and those are some big guns to bring to bear. Am I the only one that finds Austin a little annoying? I can't quite put my finger on it; but his I want you, but I must keep myself pure for Troy; is getting a little bit old for me. Will handled the interviews like a pro.

2026 Poetry Anthology - Choices - **Week Two Now Live**

So happy, this second batch is released. I work thirteen hours today and the next two, so it will be Sunday before I have time and the headspace to read this group, hope they are as good as the first grouping was. -
This was a wonderful gift by Mistress Carolyn, even if neither Frank nor Sawyer fully understand it. Sawyer will be back in connection with Dante, Henry, and Tom. And with his prodding, perhaps Dante and Frank will have an actual conversation, not a screaming match. I am sooooo Happy...

Well, Graeme and Sam have set their price, and Duncan has agreed to pay it; but now they must earn it. Graeme has gifted Sam a maille shirt. Let's hope it guards his person well, and that he won't need it during this endeavor, but better safe than sorry. This may be hard for Sam, he is rather trusting but also comes across as somewhat of a country bumpkin, although that might work to his advantage. He will have to purchase some of this drug, but let's hope he is able to not be forced to partake of it.

A genre that is not always easy to write in, but @Mark Ponyboy Peters has more than admirable succeeded. The writing was truly first rate and the flow to the story was excellent. The characters draw you in, but it is the story and the sense that something is being uncovered and learned that keeps you reading. An adventure that while we have the answers to the first part of the story, only opens up the realization that so much more is to come. Definitely worthy of your time.

Just an amazing finish to this first book in what I hope is a long series. The Ancients have stepped in and they determined the victor this day; but will they choose to act in the future? So already there are those that move toward the light and away from the darkness, but can they be fully trusted? Can't wait for the next story in this saga, but patience we must all have.

Just way to many things going on in this one, had to read it about four times before I was sure I got it all. You just can't trust Apophis. These couplings are going to get complicated. And let's hope their phones don't have roaming charges, leaving the country is bad enough, but communicating over dimensions will be expensive.

Kaylen, Tomas, and Ronan have all been honored for their loyalty and the deeds. But they must beware, for there are those that are jealous of what they have duly earned and will sow seeds of discord if they can. The Keep was threatened but the Baron and the men of the marsh held it steady. England prepares for what is coming, but the final battles still lay ahead.

Ser Graeme and Sam are learning how well they really do get along, and how their travels together have made it easier for the other to be. While they both share guilt over what happened with Sam's parents, the real culprit was the thief and he was dealt with, it was his thirst for revenge that brought about the death of Sam's parents not the actions of either. Sam really does little things to lessen the burden of Ser Graeme, and in turn he teaches Sam lessons that will serve him well. Let's hope some of those lessons help Sam in the hunt for those suppling the drugs in the area.

Jamal was able to give the Warlock a look back at this past, something more valuable than gold. In turn, the Warlock gave Jamal a peek at this future, one full of promise. But also steered him so that he could meet his past, his father. With his father's blessing Jamal is ready to move forward with Devon and Whip by his side. The traitor relied on old knowledge, and that allows the Knights to escape; but will the traitors mistake be allowed to pass, or will Septimus and what possess him strike him down for this mistake.

What a lovely evening and it all went much better than I was expecting. Joss and PJ have their own areas that they really care about and enjoy working in; then they both have a love of reading and each other. Louis and Charlie are working their way to the level of banter and playfulness found in Joss and PJ's relationship, will just take time. Sounds as if the two couples may well stay friends and in contact with each other. And I am so excited that they have both agreed, well mostly Joss, to posing for Louis. This side project is turning into something really interesting. -

Those pain pills are going to be an issue at some point, if they are not already. Henry needs those around him, puberty is hard enough, but the trauma he has dealt with literally his whole life is making this worse than usual. I hate how Frank and Dante are treating each other. Maybe Matthew should just stick to Armand and Alice could conceive by artificial means. Mistress Carolyn may well be right about more than a few things, but the bumpy road ahead may make it hard on everyone. Maybe they could get Sawyer moved over in some way or another, hate that he won't be around, Henry and Dante both need him. -
