  1. Thank you SO much for posting this link, I loved this show as a kid. Watching this show is actually what got me interested in Shakespear, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Macbeth are my favorites lol. Lol Bronx did rock, he had that bit lovable mutt quality to him. My favorites though were Lexington *the nerdy green one* and Hudson *the OLD one*

  3. Cam my good man i am guilty of trying to lol and lmao in my stories at times, I have had to conciously stop myself from doing it with lol before. One story though that used lol in it and it actually worked well in was Joey's story 'I think I'm in trouble.' "sigh" I miss Joey, and that story. P.S Is anyone else creeped out by this smilie or is it just me?->

  6. Two Ancient cultures I don't know a lot about, outside their Diety Mythology and my Egyptian is better then my Sumerian.
  7. "Redneck Hell" (it hurts me to say this) Kentucky "Gay Mecca" Atlanta Georgia (there is a reason the call it HOTlanta) "Middle of Nowhere" Sardinia Indiana (trust me I been there, you can drive the length of the town in 20 seconds)
  8. You can't siwng cat in the subject of Greek Mythology without hitting a male god with a same sex lover or two lol...Also I wonder if they realize that all the wrestling matches back in the day were done all oiled up and in the buff, really learn your history/myth. It is really cool what these guys are doing, the part with NROTC guy was especially cool. I've never sat foot on a college campus, and most likly never will (unless community college counts) but I do have a few friends spread out over the country in college (most gay) and very few of them have ever saida nything negative about the Frat/Frat brothers they've come in contact with.
  9. Hmmm, i am not entirely sure how I feel about that....on the plus side it could be rather fun...but then like Cia I think my germaphobe side would prevent any action. But more power to you should you decide to go through with it.
  10. I think from what I've seen I can saftly say that there are people here who are better off having known your brother, sadly I wish I could count my self among the. I agree with Rush and Mark you are somethign special too, as I know your brother IS also.
  11. Way to go John, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I put no because more often then not I don't sing but I have been known to hum a few bars now and then. Oddly enough I recit poetry at times though.
  13. I missed the Premier of Blood and Sand here but I'm hoping i can catch it on demand. I've always been facinated by Ancient Rome/Greece....expecially the Gladiators.
  14. Hell for all i know he very well could have orchastrated the whole Balloon boy thing. I never really paid attention to it lol.
  15. I agree with Graeme, I'm not saying that young children don't form prejudices early in life but I think its highly subject, it depends on the surrounding culture, parental influance and the childs experiance in interacations with with people that cause's it. I also think children are more aware then we give them credit for. Growing up I was never exposed to anything gay either good or bad. I mean I didn't want to be gay because my brother always made fun of gay people but I didn't have problem with homosexuals. I don't really see Homosexuality as abnormal and I don't think sexuality itself is subjective or environmental. Homosexuality is so widespread, and has been for centuries, that it can't be anything but normal. Its well documented that homosexuality was practiced and tolerated in ancient Greece, Rome, and Britain (pre-christian influence) and probably even further then that. Before the fall of Ancient Matrifocal cultures it was common place for young men and women alike to have same sex relationships before marriage.
  16. Happy Birthday FairyTaleSkies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Hope its a great day.
  17. First off, welcome to GA. Second, I like your story, its very intriguing. Like Steve said your friend probably meant an announcment for each of your chapters in the Efiction announcement section. Toss out a few more posts to get ranking and get changed to the author status and you'll be set lol. Sorry for just repeating what already been said. I hope you come to love it here lol. BEst Wishes, NightOwl

  19. Nice article, I'll have to circulate it through the Yahoo groups I belong to.
  20. I've yet to see the movie, I've seen several previews and trailers and it does look wonderful; but come on folks....its a movie; its FICTION. I understand being depressed when comparing Earth to Pandora as the place does seem to rock but you know what, instead of getting all depressed and mopy DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Earth will never be like Pandora but we can do stuff to preserve the Earth and reverse the damage we've caused. Plant some trees or flowers or a garden, donate to an ecological cause, recycle. I know what'll be said, what I've said seems like small potatos but small steps can add up if their acted upon on the broad spectrum. Perhaps I'm being insensitive, and if so I'm sorry about it; these are just my thoughts. Best Wishes, NightOwl
  21. I think this is one the truest statements I have read. I'm *guilty* of this myself, having been involved with several girls between 14 and 16. Most teenage or adolecent boys WANT to experiment with other guys (for various reasons) but are afraid to for usually one of three reasons, fear of being branded as Gay, fear of physical harm from family (usually a father figure or other male reletive), or fear that they might enjoy it too much (these are the three reasons that I have encountered most). Now I'm not saying every young guy should hook up with the boy next door just so they can see it from a gay guys perpespective but these are also usually the same three reasons that keeps people from associating with LGBT people until later in life, its during this indetermnate period where we get all of our negative programing against people who are different then us (not just gay people either) and when your that young your mind is very malleable and you tend belive all the negative stereotyping and propaganda about Gay people. This in my opinion is where Homophobia comes from, one generations negative experiance (usually somewhere around 20 or 30 years old) being constantly insisted upon and drilled into a new generation of people even though a repeat of their experiance in todays world is unlikely. It is mankinds nature to fear, attack, and destroy anything that it does not understand. The kind of homophobia I have come up against most in my life is Pedophilliac homophobia. I used to have to keep it hidden when i was teenager that I was gay because it would cost me babysitting jobs because my *clients* would be afraid that I'd molest their little boys and try to turn them gay. I know this sound a little radical but its true. I'm not saying that there are pedo's that prefer boys but to lump us all in to that catagory is unfair and frankly just insulting. That is SUCH a stereotype, I'm gay and ahve NO fashion sense and I HATE clothes shoping
  22. I've not heard of it( I dont watch a lot of tv these days) but I'll deffinatly look for it.
