Like other comments, I think Mr. Reilly needs to rethink some of his teaching methods with respect to angry outbursts. Since we don’t know his backstory, I’ll give him a bit of leniency—particularly if he cancels the laps for everyone other than Jake. As for Jake’s anger and subsequent sex with Danny, I’ll leave it with “damn teenage hormones...”

I guess he’s going to be the cabin boy — or worse — after all. Only now, he doesn’t have any of the things he bought and will need. ¡Pobrecito!

PS: like Jihan, I have long pondered the similarity of his name & Jian’s name. Coincidence?

My how I love Rashan’s exuberance, intelligence, and empathy — especially for one so young! What a good beginning for the new family. I understand the reasons, but I worry that Jihan remains hesitant about Kastan’s love, despite the wedding and the magic of the the Ancients. It weakens the armor of their family and provides an opening for the Empress and her schemes, particularly now that she has a pawn in Nisa Baiza. A woman “scorned” and a scheming Empress to use her make a dangerous combination for Jihan and Kastan and their extended families. If only their two families can merge and Jihan can fully believe in Kastan’s love, however, then even the Best of the Empress’s machinations will fail. Do be wary of the spices, Jihan.

You had me at the title, well, specifically at the spelling of N’than’s name. I clicked on “Follow” before I read any of the chapter. To be more precise, it was the title AND the author combination that demanded, “Try it. You’ll like it.” Now, having finished the first chapter, I am certain it was the right decision. More, please!

...and how will Bailey respond to rough sex. A "safe word" won't help...

My big question now: when and how do Harlan and Bailey get through their self-imposed impasse. My more niggling question: how is his employer managing his "workplace accommodation." Could just be via writing since most of Bailey's actual work is reading, observing, calculating, reassessing -- all things that he can do by himself and write up in reports. Then again, maybe someone else speaks ASL at the company. Time will tell.

All good possibilities, but my money is on Harlan already knowing ASL. Together, we will find out...

I’m definitely looking forward to understanding Rush’s & Beckett’s mom’s disappearance and the story behind Nash covering up his Omega nature. Clearly, Beckett knows and I’m guessing Rush knows, too — perhaps they even helped him get the meds. One little touch that tickles me is how Tanner curses, and now we know why: Cookie is a force of nature and not to be trifled with, especially if you want her caramel tarts. 😋

A little heart-pounding excitement to end this week’s installment. Definitely got my adrenaline pumping!

As Did Lorenz’s knowledge take Serge by surprise, as well. I’m sure we’ll gain more insight as the chapters unfold.

It seems clear that her hangups are affecting Devyn and others in the extended family. I hope that Jason is able to shuffle things around so that this family can realign itself with more positive factors than her self-hate. Are she and Jordan related? Maybe both unwillingly turned? Time will tell...

My "tear" emoji is not because I didn't think it deserved a "heart" emoji. It was because it moved me to tears--and I haven't even read the story leading up to this moment. The tears were of sadness but also respect and admiration for those vets like Brad who make it and righteous anger for those vets who do not. How dare our Cheeto in Chief give the Medal of Freedom to Limbaugh, who has done nothing but try to divide and destroy our nation, when so many military and ex-military have given so much to save it. How dare our political and business leaders not do more to care for the young women and men who give so much and often come back to addictions and homelessness. Anyway, I'm leaving the "tear" emoji although I would love to add "anger" and "love" to it. Kudos @Carlos Hazday. (PS: I love your newest avatar!)

A Comedy of Errors? A Midsummer’s Night Dream? Truly we have the making of a debacle of Shakespearean proportions—and not one to resolve in an Elizabethan day. The insight of Kiyan about his family was enlightening, and he gives me hope because he realizes that just taking over the Kamran networks and giving it to a courtier to manage is not a good path. It also gives me hope he won’t do anything massively stupid out of ignorance or arrogance. So glad I have another chapter to look forward to reading!

I look forward to seeing when Norio realizes he has fallen in love with these kids... & please fill in the back story of Norio and Takeshi.

But were those men the same that killed the werewolf and the other fae? Maybe Oberon has a link to them now. As for other aspects of Oberon's link to the dragon, time and future chapters -- not too long coming, I hope -- will tell us.

I just hope there no hidden cameras or hidden paparazzi that captured that loss of control. On the other hand, thy needed something to erase Damien’s intrusion. Unfortunately, I expect he has not yet given up. ...& I so want to know how he got that guitar. At least, Mark didn’t take it.

Once again, the similarities between Jihan and Kastan jump out and grab me: their intense loyalties to the people they consider their families, their struggles to balance what is right for themselves and those closest to them, and their obsession with privacy. Unfortunately, these similarities work against them finding happiness together. Thank goodness I can have hope that @lilansui will find a way to bring them a HEA. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
