Growing up in Tampa, Florida I knew I was different. Living in a conservative community there wasn't much or any exposure that would help me understand my nature.

That was until the night at Stewie's we discovered porn.

My Christmas was all planned out until my mother called.

She and father are coming for Christmas...Why? What bad thing did I do to deserve this?

Then my Andy steps in and it becomes once more My Prefect Christmas.

On occasion, a long-distance love affair becomes reality, bridging the gap between mere fantasy and real-life passion.

(This short story is several years old, but I thought I'd share.)

The Sessions is a collection of transcripts containing the conversations and subsequent appointment notes between a Consulting psychiatrist and her new patient. As a transcript, the story is told entirely in dialogue and is set in a small, plainly decorated room. A teak coffee table separates Patient and Doctor. Although not seen, the Doctor will be taking notes throughout, and these can be read at the end of each visit.
While some of the details within the transcripts may not be entirely medically accurate, I have drawn on my extensive experience of being the “patient” in therapy.

Across the pool is a boy that I remember from my childhood. A boy that I remember hating for being gay, among other reasons. But I also remember how I came to love him and discover new things about myself.

As Will laments being the only gay guy he knows in farming, he meets a really hot young man who works at his local abattoir. Recent heartbreak and a cute dog conspire to get the pair of them on the same page.

Originally this story was written as part of the pick two. After posting, many people asked for it to be expanded, so I have done so.
