Inspired by Jan Hutchinson’s prompts for National Poetry Writing Month 2023.

As I said somewhere else, I won’t manage to write a poem a day this April. The start was delayed, as I didn’t want to bore you with unimaginative rants giving righteous indignation and certain occurrences too many words and importance.

Book Three of the Adventures of the Desert Vets - Marcus Sanderson and his husband Jexson Kendrik, accept an offer to do a Work Exchange with two Veterinarians from a Veterinary practice in Cardiff, Wales.

Aspiring teen actor, Evan Elliott, has finally gotten his first big role on one of his favorite TV shows, "The Walking Dead". Not only is this a big boost for his career, but he gets to work with his celebrity crush, Chandler Riggs, every day. However, when Asa Butterfield gets signed on to be a part of the new season as well...will Evan miss out on getting Chandler's attention? Or will a random meeting with singer, Greyson Chance, send Evan's heart in a whole new direction?

I'm not a poet, but hopefully through these prompts I'll learn to become one.

Poems for National Poetry Writing Month - April 2023

Jacob and Christian have been best friends since high school. Christian is getting married soon, so they spend one last weekend together in Jacob's cabin to celebrate. But a chance encounter with three unknown men will change their lives irrevocably.

This is a collection of poems I have and will be writing to celebrate life. I want to emphasize the beauty in our lives, humor and changes we make.

A product of a sterile lab, Dani is a vampire unlike any other — he's never known humanity. Under the watchful eye of his enigmatic mentor, Vinicius, Dani has lived an existence utterly isolated from society, leaving him profoundly naive to its ways. When Vinicius is abruptly taken, Dani's sheltered world crumbles, leaving him woefully unprepared for what lies beyond. Now, he's thrown into the chaos of a vampire high school, where he must grapple with the treacherous currents of adolescence and the desires of his non-beating heart.

This is the story of my coming out, my first gentle steps into the world of sex, and my first partners. It's a tale of passion and discovery, of tenderness, love and mutual satisfaction. It chronicles my year of turning from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan, and I hope you enjoy it.
