Can life start again after losing the person you expected to be your partner for life?

Two young men become casual acquaintances at a grocery store when Tyler bags Sean’s groceries and loads them in his car. Then Tyler quits his job.

The story begins during an unexpected meeting in the college library a year or so later. Sean is a third-year engineering student and Tyler a first-year business major. Tyler’s problem: he’s in a hopeless quandary over his required calculus course. Sean, being a third semester calculus student, offers to help him. Tyler accepts, and under Sean’s tutelage begins to understand what he can’t seem to fathom in the classroom. He also learns something about Sean’s hidden side.

Life was going great, well I thought it was until one late Autumn afternoon, I received a phone call from my ex-wife, who informed me that our only child, 12-year Jonah Hunter Langston, had run away from home, after being forced to admit that he was gay, to his mother and step-father. Over two months, the teenagers grow a bond through a lost art of communication; helping Max to come to terms with who he is, and to Max's amazement, he's fallen for an unknown boy who sounds perfect in every way according to their personal correspondences.

What else is there to do when your friends are having premarital sex in your car, then to visit the gravesite of a witch in an abandoned ghost town. What if ghost town wasn't actually a cliché?

During the COVID pandemic, two thirteen-year-old boys fall in love while attempting to deal with the climate crisis. They meet while rescuing a racoon. Their relationship strengthens as they add information to parked vehicles, restaurants, and a fountain. Later they demonstrate in drag, practice foreplay, run around naked on the prairies, develop a close relationship with prairie dogs, and experience an extreme weather event.
