I post this two part Whitman-based cantata in celebration of Pride Month.

Everything is not what it seems, as the ever-popular Charlie, tries to persuade his best friend Roger, that it’s time for him to lose his virginity.

Sam searches for love and acceptance as he deals with the pressures of student life, a troubled family and his emerging confusion over his sexuality as he finds himself falling in love with his best friend.

Perry (A fairly rich kid who always seems to be in some sort of trouble) and Jesse (A poor kid who is a blackbelt and has a bad past reguarding his previous schools and his father) find love for each other after Jesse moves to Perry's school from another city.

Scott's heart is torn in two directions. He wants to leave Greenwood to be with his boyfriend, but he can't leave his grandfather, who needs him.

Bay suffers from stereotyping. When he comes out, people think it means he wants to be all flamboyant and pink with glitter, but Bay is the least camp eighteen year old there is. For Bay, coming to terms with being gay, but somehow also being repressed about it, is a journey that takes a summer, some odd new friends, and a very special sort of man.

It's not uncommon for a gay man to use a woman as a 'beard', to appear straight. What happens though when Dale is asked to be a different kind of beard?

Jeremy Isen, nephew of Duncan Isen, and son of Duncan's older brother Ian Isen is coming into his own. At fifteen years old, and a Freshman at H. B. Plant High School, Jeremy shows a passion for photography, martial arts, and journalism. As a member of the school's Yearbook Staff, and the chief photo-journalist for both the Yearbook and Newspaper, he's well-known among the high school teens, even outside his grade-level. Events during the school year and the beginning of summer vacation conspire to change his life. Will it be for the better, or for the worse?

Kyp had enough smothering to last him a lifetime. He overcame so much to graduate high school. Now that he's finally at college, he's finding that the start is harder than he thought.

He has a roommate for the first time in his life, and people who would like to be his friends if he'll let them in. Kyp wants to be independent, but circumstances beyond his control will teach him that sometimes the second half of the race is the hardest part.
