Aidan Ross, artist extraordinaire meets Rick Mahoney when the man comes for an interview, except he is at the wrong one. Aidan wants him to be the inspiration for his next paintings so badly that he makes a tempting offer. But soon he realizes that he has a decision to make. Aidan can’t be certain whether it's only the artist in him who is allured by Rick’s charming looks or if there is more than that.

Life is full of twists and turns, both expected and unexpected, wondrous and excruciating. This year’s poems for National Poetry Writing Month will embrace the curveballs life throws at us and also serve as an exploration and raw portrayal of the grieving process. This is my first attempt at writing a story that is no gay or straight. There are people in it that are both. It is set in the future, but once you begin to read it what year it is won't matter.

Axel the Kodiak werebear has finally found happiness with his home in Atikokan and his new cub Adam, but Adam's curiosity in his mysterious Papa's history has Axel bringing up memories that he has kept buried for centuries and will lead the pair on a 3,500 mile trek to Alaska to track down Axel's own Papa!

There are leaps of faith. Is there a leap of hope? Originally written as a response to Prompt#448:" What did he just say?" It just kept growing.
