Former teen star Andy Herrington has one last shot at making it big. How much is he willing to sacrifice to make his dreams come true?

This introduces Jake, the narrator of Moorpark Palms, a funny book of stories about a small Los Angeles apartment building in the 1990s. Jake & Conor is a light little romance, once intertwined with the longer book. I broke it out because it distracted from the apartment stories.

A lonely baker gets frustrated with his friends and life.

One night annihilated their lives, destroyed every happiness they ever knew, scarred them beyond healing and murdered their desire to keep breathing. What was left behind was a reminder taunting them every moment that perhaps they would never get their lives back.

Each one of them was broken, angry and alone.

Each one of them desperately wanted some answers.

And, now together they are seeking vengeance.

High school was over and one last summer stood between Trevor and Dustin's future. A summer they dreamed of for the last four years. Countless hours of planning and dreaming. A cross country road trip. Just the two of them and wherever the road may lead. But things were more complicated than that.

Trevor was struggling with new feelings for his best friend. Feelings he can't quite figure out. Feelings that scared him shitless. Dustin was acting weird too. A shift in their friendship dynamic. They both knew something was up. Driving down the highway with no escape, will these two best friends survive their last hurrah together?

Rick and Glenn take their family on a road trip to visit Glenn's family in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. During their visit, Glenn and Rick enjoy their time with family; but a dark shadow hangs over their visit as they discover the truth of the warnings Glenn's brother gave them regarding their mother's health.

Just a short glance into the lives of the characters. They are not heavy with plot and some of these slice of life pieces are based on my real life experiences. Down the road, I may choose to expand some of these into a full story.
