Three poems for the 2023 Poetry Anthology

This is a special story and close to my heart. It's about a real relationship I share with Caleb, my platonic and brotherly internet soulmate. We met online over ten years ago, and have kept in touch through mutual websites and email.

This is a work of fiction it's how I imagined it would be if Caleb and I ever met in paradise

Three souls from three different times mysteriously entwined: Thomas from 1929, Johnny from 1959, Jude from 2019. Each have lived in the lighthouse, a lighthouse that is full of beauty and mystery. The mystery of the story is how these three souls are connected.

A short story to celebrate A Friendly Face's Birthday

Ryan isn't a singer, so why does the manager of the already debuted boyband, decide to add him? Certain he's been placed with them to make the band fail, Jasper becomes frustrated with their new member. Between his outspoken nature and Ryan's anxiety, tensions rise and when truths start coming to light, Jasper finds himself trying to protect Ryan from the negatives of fame, while Ryan puts the spotlight on something Jasper had been denying all his life. With media leaks, threats against their career and the struggle to keep their private lives, private, along with the interference of almost everyone, life is no fanfiction love story.

A massive storm barrels toward Florida. In an emergency pop-up shelter, young Lucas meets a boy, whom he confides in about his feelings towards boys, his fears about life, and his love for Disney movies, among other things. However, as the evening goes on, sinister forces are bringing about bad things with the storm for Lucas's new friend, and sad reminders for those stuck under the same roof as the boys.

Being a lad from the mines I always wondered what it would be like to make good and become a Lord of the land... Not long ago, we remembered one hundred years since the start of the great war. This story was originally born at that time as I started thinking about my background. My family were all miners and during the war the mines were owned by the gentry, the Dukes and such... It got me thinking, what if during the war the workers(Miners) met the ruling classes? What if one of them was evacuated in the war to live with a miner and his family... Such fun!

Two men from two different time periods, their lives somehow connected.

Thomas has come to Adermoor Cove to vacation and work on his new novel. On the island he finds himself drawn to Agamemnon Angelopaulos, the owner of the lighthouse.

In present day, after a brutal separation, Jude and Duane have reunited. They arrive at Adermoor Cove for a vacation. While the island and it's inhabitants are beautiful Jude feels a strong sense of deja vu. Dogged by the memories of hurt and betrayal, he's determined to make things work but the path to forgiveness is not an easy one.

This is independent from "The Guys Of Tigger's Den" it was inspired by Caleb's recent trip to Seattle with his sons
