"A Cold Spell," the fifth installment of my "Pleasant View" series is unlike anything that comes before or afterward in the ongoing lives of Jack, Brad, and friends. "A Cold Spell" is my foray into the world of sci-fi, and is also my homage to the eerie events surrounding a tragedy and a mythical (or real) creature that some say still haunts the hills and hollers of Appalachia.

This is an introduction to Unison Island, including how it started and how it is governed. This was prompted by the reviews I have received on my other stories. Some facts have of course been left out if they impact on current or future stories - Sorry but you'll have to wait for all the answers.

Ben got out of a bad relationship and has managed to re-start his life. Maybe. Hopefully. Or will the past come back to haunt him? These are short little one-shots/ficlets set in the Tears of the Neko Universe.I've been perusing the writing prompts and using them as a way to get me back into the 'neko mindset' to write the sequel. They are set after Tears of the Neko (unless otherwise indicated)--so it would help to have read that story first of course to be familiar with the characters. Most are sort of funny and silly, as I'm playing around with the characters.

Unfortunately his charm and charisma doesn't work on Robin, and Kieran is not used to being denied what he wants. The road to real happiness never did run smooth...
