The greatest joys of life can lie in the simplest, everyday things. A morning starts off rather more exciting than Jake had expected as he and Nate prepare breakfast. A short story of two lovers' chemistry with a side of goofy toastiness.

But for those who are skilled enough to play the game, it can be a profitable venture for any vampire who wants to avoid living in the sewers, junkyards, and abandoned buildings, around the city of Chicago. A skilled brawler named Jacob is fighting for something. Something that he believes in. And he's come too far to stop now! Even if it brings him, face to face, with an opponent that may be completely out of his league.

This is the story of an older gay man who picks up a cute, young, straight hitchhiker. Over a few days they become very close, emotionally.

I have long enjoyed the writings of DomLuka. His two stories, Desert Droppings and With Trust are two of my favorite gay, coming of age stories.

Unfortunately, Dom never posted an ending to With Trust, which disappointed me tremendously, because I always wanted to know if Nelson got his painter.

So here’s my fanfiction ending to With Trust; it won’t make any sense unless you have read the original story, so go read that first.

If anyone else wants to write an alternative ending, I’d love to read that too!

Sean is a troubled young man. Some of the things he does might be considered to be not all that well thought out. At times all his family and friends, particularly his older friend, Johnny (the narrator of these fragments of Sean's life), can do is to be there for him, and help him to pick up the pieces when things go wrong. Even when, sometimes, Sean himself doesn't even seem to want to pick up the pieces.

He looks the worse for wear and reeks of alcohol, so Ben decides to help him, but after waking up the drunken troublemaker he quickly realizes that he was not prepared for what he has unleashed.

Raven is a thief, probably the best one. He is hired by mysterious clients to obtain a rather peculiar object -- a dark-green, oval-shaped rock. He is tempted to accept the offer even though the rock belongs to one of the most influential, powerful, and cruel men in the world. (book III in the series)

New bartender, Lane Hardy, has come to work at The Rainbow Beret, a gay bar outside of Denver. Regular customer Brendan McCoy is immediately attracted to his odd nature and appearance.
