A vampire teacher with advanced knowledge of the vampire scriptures and what their significance is in darkness is suddenly partnered up with a young newblood who has an extra that allows him to decode ancient texts at will. However...when the Elders find out about this ability, they target the boy for execution! What are they hiding? In modern times, with the vampire population growing to massive numbers in the Chicago area, a program had to be set up in order to take care of the carnage left behind and continue the cover up that vampires actually exist.
