While he longs for Steven, day and night, he just can't seem to figure out what he's doing wrong. And yet, his heart can't seem to let him go and move on. A young man, fed up with his abusive parents and fearing they would have him shipped to an offshore torture facility leaves home to start his life elsewhere, only to get caught up in events well beyond his control.

A "Gone From Daylight" spinoff told way back in the time of knights and kings, where the sword may not always be the most effective form of defense, no matter who wields it. Another tale of vampire influence throughout human history! Enjoy!
