A story of a teenager coming to terms with whom he is. As he wrestles with the fact that he is gay, life throws him several curve balls along the way from life threatening diseases, cancer to shootings, Jacob finds his way through the web of his teenage years and hopefully comes out stronger on the other end.

When a young black man named Jackson Carter comes to their church to perform community service, Walt finally meets someone who likes him for who he is, not who he pretends to be.

Jaehan walks away from a successful life with the aim of gaining his freedom from a villainous Entertainment Agency called N-sang. When N-sang stops him from pursuing his dreams independently, Jaehan gives up and returns to his hometown. Until his band mates meet Dan Suk, a man without fear. Dan challenges Jaehan, pushing him to follow his heart despite the many obstacles that N-sang Entertainment throws at him.

This is the continued story of Matt Spence, Andy Gibson, and their friends. Knots 2 covered the first half of their sophomore year in high school. Knots 3 covers the second half. Matt and Andy are struggling with their sexuality along with the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager. Decisions they make cause them to tie knots in their lives that have both good and bad consequences.
